    He still is "One Time."

He also thinks he's Floyd Mayweather, so now he only fights "one time" a year, despite being in his twenties.

He can actually keep the "Onetime" moniker as he has only fought ONE TIME each of the previous two years!

than spence should move up to 154.

yeah exactly, the funny thing is I fully expect for him to get beat once he steps it up and people will blame the layoff but I honestly think he just wasnt that good to begin with just have real serious pop.

Kenny Porter lives vicariously through his son, and believes wholeheartedly that he's somehow the one actually in the ring fighting. Porter might be ranked #1 contender with the WBC silver, but it means nothing at this point as WBC has not ordered a mandatory fight for Thurman. Right now it doesn't look like they will, especially if Haymon doesn't want that rematch to happen. So Porter could be sitting on the side line for a while. Funny thing is if WBC orders Porter to defend his #1 slot in another eliminator, he will have to, or risk being stripped of his ranking. So essentially this is nothing but wannabe boxer tough guy schit talk from Kenny Porter.

Would like to see Thurman against Ponomarev or Ocampo for his first bout back being that they are both ranked, undefeated, and don't have much power. Barrionuevo is also an option, but he does have some pop. After that, a fight against Vargas would be a nice step up, provided that Thurman will be fighting 3 times next year (hopefully). Then to end the year, it would be great to see Thurman Vs. Spence. Wouldn't be surprised at all if Matthysse some how joined the party. But, with out a doubt, would like to see Thurman Vs. Spence sometime next year.

I feel the same way because when he was coming up he wanted Floyd and others to fight him. He now gets two belts and he's a once a year fighter? Come on Keef!

You can't be serious? This young man is trying to establish his legacy and you do that by cleaning out his division as best be can. It may take longer than he once thought but he knows what he needs to do and it's not to move up to 154 right now.

Vanes Martirosyan got three shots at 154lb titles and lost all three times (credit to Arum for the first shot, but Haymon delivered 2 shots in 5 fights).

Vanes wanted a 4th shots, that didn't happen, so he pouted and Haymon let him walk without issue; Vanes heads to Don King, and now he's still waiting on a title opportunity.

Lol, what did you think happened?

Thurman only has a fight once every 5 years so he needs to choose wisely.

                      Hello San DIEGO! lmfao.

Yeah I always thought thurman was just a fraud who talked a big game and had decent skills but even a even bigger punched that can bail him out. He got pushed back and ran from guerrero in teh champ rounds, soto karass rocked his ass with his trademark 1mph overhand telegraphed right, collazo hurt him bad to the body, he abondons his one time motto when the going gets tough. I just think he been matched extremely well and now that their is no more favorable matches left and only real fights he starts to to go into hiding.
