Who's next in line to be a mainstream star?

Yup he is a skilled boxer with a at LEAST a decent chin.Preety good stamina when he trains seems to somtime fight to level of opp.Does have some wasted movement but he gives anyone at 160 a fight.Think GGG would be hardest for him.Then prob Danny Jacobs I think his style and toughness would be pretty big prob for Canelo but not sure if id pick him would have to think about that.Tough style

I would say he would cause problems and be competitive with all the top guys at 160, whether he’d actually win is another story. I give him little chance of actually beating GGG. GGG is very good at cutting the ring off unlike Lemieux, he’d get to him in the mid/late rounds IMO. As for Canelo agree BJS is stylistically a bad matchup for him, I thought that straight away watching the Lemieux fight. I rewatched the Lara fight because of it and Canelo is has faster feet than people think IMO, he’s a bit flat footed but when he has to he can move his feet well enough. I’d pick Canelo by decision. BJS vs Jacobs would be a real 50/50 in my eyes, I think Saunders is the better pure boxer, but Jacobs physical tools would be a problem. In an ideal world I’d like to see GGG vs Canelo 2, BJS vs Jacobs next and the winners meet in the autumn

Hahaha agreed, Warren and Hearn don’t really do business together either, plus Jacobs is a very high risk very low reward fight for BJS so I doubt it happens myself tbh

Yea there all lining up for BIG cash fight.Thing is no one is sure of getting it except maybe BJS.If they fought esp on undercard they would make it ALMOST imposable to duck them.Charlo too

Yeah that’d be a real smart move if BJS could negotiate an undercard spot, I order to both raise his value and help secure the winner

Yea it would be REAL SMART if Jacobs or Charlo could get themselves in other corner.But I think BJS is pretty confident that he will get GGG next 4 syre assume no rubber match.And even though it could be tough fight I would think Canelo would want him too esp if he lost.The other option are Jacobs,Charlo,Andrade and I don't think he really wants any of those with no title and no extra money really.

I expect Saunders to just play the waiting game tbh, probably more of a stay busy defence in the UK and then look to fight the winner after that, I doubt he’d want to risk that huge payday against a Andrade, Jacobs, Charlo when their isn’t significant money for him in those fights. Yup that's the way I see it.Hopfully those other guys might fight.Thats the best thing about a (mostly)undisputed div the contenders cant wait 2,3,4 years to get shot.Somone gonna have to step up and I think Jacobs because he has made a little money already might just be willing to take on Charlo,Andrade or the Russian kid Dim? something Sergey or close.
