No surprise here. As I posted earlier, he went for an x-ray on Saturday night and if it was in fact broken, we would have known about it Sunday morning. He just quit- full stop

Even Rigodeaux knows that is a week excuse. Lame scape goat if you ask me.

He has a great jab and never used it properly against Loma

        Yup.

Rigo went from master boxer with an unbeatable aura to a guy who quit because he had a boo boo.

          Shock....Not.

Anyone with a shred of intelligence about them knew from the get go, even from the body language of him in his corner, he just wanted out of there. He knew full well he was outclassed, he’s a smart fighter, it wouldn’t have taken him long to realise that and his heart failed him.

There are tons of fighters who have fought on through adversity.

          Ali - Broken jaw
Marciano - Nose split in half
          Haye - Snapped Achilles
Calzaghe - Broken hand (an actual broken hand, that is)
Holyfield - Chunk of ear bitten clean off

That’s just off the top of the head, there’s literally tons of examples of fighters injured or beaten to the point of losing badly that either did carry on, or at least wanted too through it all...Klitschko vs Lewis/Willard vs Dempsey...

Rigo just showed us he has got no true heart or grit. Simple as that. A shame for such an accomplished fighter. He wasn’t even being beat down physically, he just felt uncomfortable with the class difference and bailed. All there is too it.

Ricky Burns, nine rounds with a broken jaw 9 full rounds. Abraham, broken jaw seven full rounds, against Stieglitz a fractured jaw ! I’m not calling these guys wise but lord they wouldn’t damn quit for anything. Look at Energy Eddie and Magomed Abdsusalamov, took royal hidings yet persevering until the end in he vain hope of landing a fight ending punch a la Briggs vs Liakhovich, Carl Froch vs Jermain Taylor, it’s never over until it’s over.

Ummm dont you mean Lomachenko??? Loma was landing at WILL against Rig.
Exactly. Rigo was the one fustrated which was why he quit. Fock Rigo.
