Lomachenko is smaller than Mayweather and would be giving away huge weight advantages.

Lomachenko could be a 5 weight world champ less that half the time it took Floyd to do.

None of Mayweather's victories at 154lbs come close to Crawford, Spence or Thurman. Spence.

Oscar and Canelo were split and majority decisions and Cotto push Mayweather all the way and won the middle rounds.

Floyd was a natural welter after he came back against Marquez.

I can only gather you dislike floyd by the way you discredit his career? Floyd hadn't fought at 154 as a pro and beat oscar in his first try there giving away 10lbs on fight night, he whitewashed canelo with ease at 36 yrs old

his fight vs JMM is almost comparable (in theory) with lomas vs rigo fighters coming up 2 weights but yea you can rightly argue the significance of either victory

Cotto was a tough fight at 154 you make it sound like its embarrassing he lost a few rounds? You jus said he has no thurman type win at 154 thurmans beat who? Danny garcia and porter? Cottos and canelo and oscars resumes are laughably better than thurman plus Spence is green as hell but Crawfords a beast and proven by dominating 140 tho imo agreed on that

He beat manny fighter of the decade i mean it goes on and on hes had the best career of any fighter in the modern era wtf

And if Loma is your goat well then salido must be his god
Loma has a better resume than most champions after 10 fights lol. You mad?

Floyd never signed up to this though.
Did I ever say Floyd did?

              apart from spence and crawford.

i could see danny beating him. thurman most certainly beating him. porter beating him (bullying him far far greater then anything salido was ever able to do) & even a 147 pound brook. the problem with 126 and 130 is that it's overrated fighters when compared to 147. not just about size. say what u want about danny but that kid is tough and has a hard hard chin & theres no qutting in him. so loma would just have to figure it out on decision if he could pull it off & he would have to carry a big punch to get respect. otherwise someone like porter just bullys him into submission.

Look at the man in your avatar. The man that liked a tear up and wanted to prove he was the man. If you think Floyd was that type of fighter you are mistaken.

Oscar had been retired had one fight in 3 years, was doing coke and dressing up in women's clothes.

Canelo was drained, and very green.

Cotto won the middle rounds, out boxed Floyd in them. The slow start killed the fight for Cotto and he faded late on. Why didn't the fight happen 4 years earlier. What was Floyd's excuse? Puerto Rico is too far away.

Loma was fighting at 126lbs last year. Floyd last fight at 140lbs before fighting Marquez at 147lbs was 5 years ealier

Also people were calling for Rigo vs Loma, nobody was calling for Floyd vs Marquez.

Spence has shown with the Brook victory he is the real deal

Thurman has proved himself by beating champions. They are in their prime unlike any of Floyd's victories at 154lbs

explain.......how is a guy like lomachenko going to beat someone like thruman at 147?

                  explain the game plan.

lomachenko wouldn't even be able to mess with porter let alone thurman.

I think it remains to be seen how well he can do moving up. He has short arms and a small frame, fights at short-mid range, and doesn't have a lot of power.

Obviously his skills and speed will be enough against most guys, but we still have to see how he would fare against Garcia and Crawford. Crawford would have almost a 5 inch reach advantage already at 140.

how are people now confusing 126 and 130 fighters with 147 fighters? the fighters are very very weak at 126 & 130 compared to 147 (forget size) just from a talent prospective. it's no contest just on talent alone.

do you really think jason freaking SOSA or walters are better then porter? jason freaking sosa?

                      whooohahahahaha!

broner had a show at 130/135

everyone demanded and screamed at him to move up to 147.

not just for the size but better fighters.
