Saying they're both dirty is like saying Sullivan Barrera and Alexander brand are both bums.

Silly comment. Every fighter has a dirty moment, even Golovkin hit Lemieux after the bell. That doesn't make him dirty.

This is pro BOXING. If I was interested in sanitary combat I'd watch the amateurs. I'm glad Loma has shaken off that amateur system mentality. He fought kids for way too long. He's a pro now and he's fighting for the fans. I think he's really grown into the role.

If he fights Garcia, he's going to have to tap into that mean streak and get rough because Mikey is a big, strong dude that knows the science.
So you had a problem with Roy doing this every fight? Just curious since I have never seen you mention it before and it was a Jones specialty.

Loma had to muscle his way out of Rigo's vice-like clinches and holding. Rigo bent his head down below his waist and turned his back of Loma. Just got schooled and toyed with. While Loma did tag Rigo after the bell it was during a heated moment trying to wrangle out of Rigo's clutch.

Loma is not going to allow himself to be cheap-shotted and roughed up with dirty tactics the way Salido was able to get away with. We have all seen what Ward, Hopkins, Floyd, Rigo and Salido have gotten away with in their careers with excessive clinching, forearms, pushing, theatrics and other tactics. Loma will take matters into his own hands of the ref want do his job. Thank Salido for that.
They call those guys crafty veterans though, smart fighters because they do it and get away with it. But ask them about Abner Mares and they are nowhere to be seen. https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...d.php?t=509665

For some people it all reverts back to Andre Ward and Floyd Mayweather.. pretty weird.

Most don't have a problem with it. I haven't seen anyone complaining. Only replying to people calling Rigo dirty.

Why are some of you sooooo gutted that I like Loma?? In fact, it seems to be a mission for some posters to try to get "certain people" to dislike Loma.
                      Very telling....

I was never really here nor there with Roy. He was an incredible athlete but to be honest, I never got into him for some reason. The showboating definitely didn't appeal to me.
