No. We are talking about a reigning champ of ten years who probably grew complacent and that loss snapped him out of it. You obviously don't have the mentality of a champion so I'm sure you don't get it. I'm sure there was a desire to show people that he was far from done and had a lot left in the tank after that abysmal fury fight, which he showed. The pain of that defeat alone would've inspired him to be better and it showed. I've been waiting for Ortiz to rise up and challenge for a belt for some time now. Whether he actually took PEDs and tried to cover it up with BP meds or if he didn't & his people just failed to properly disclose the meds, it's a disgrace! He's always had stamina problems. But that wasn't the case against AJ. He got knocked out because AJ can punch, not because Wlad had gassed.

The speed was the same. If not, give me a fight in his prime to compare, and tell me what you see.

Better recovery? Did you not see the Sanders, Brewster, Purrity and Peter fights? No one else was able to cause Wlad that much damage so no one actually tested his recovery.
