The world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury is suing Britain’s anti-doping and boxing authorities over allegations he used a performance-enhancing drug.

Itll get backdated to the time of the offence, so most he'll be out for another year. I think he'll get a 2-3 year ban, back dated, and free to continue fighting. Doubt UKAD want to go to court. Fury probably knows he'll be free soon, why hes started making an effort to get in shape.

Backdated? Fury isn't even banned atm and hasn't been since the first few months the news broke. He had his license taken for his claims of mental health issues. He hasn't applied for it back.

Neither Fury is banned at the moment. Tyson had his license taken for claiming to be mentally ill. He hasn't chosen to apply for it back.

I know about that, and that refusal to provide a sample can be counted as a failed test. Fury was also being tested by VADA at that time though, and the only thing he came up positive for was *******. He was also suffering from the mental health problems that led to him losing his licence, so that will have to be taken into account.
