If this is a close fight amd Lomachenko barely wins or its a controversial win. I think Rig. should be ranked P4P higher than Loma. Because that will tell if both were same size Rig. probably would of won.

Thats the craziest myth i think ive ever heard that Arum punished Rigo for beating donaire. First of all Donaire wasnt some huge cash cow like Pacquiao or Cotto. Second of all Arum saod it was because he had a boring style that Hbo and the fans did.nt like and it was true. Lets just say for argument sake that rigo was an exciting fighter, what sense would it make to shelve an exciting fighter who just beat donaire? Obviously it had to be something other than a punishment because if Rigo were a draw and exciting you can bet Arum would have wanted that money bag

Look at people making excuses already. Have you seen what rigo looks like? Hes a monster, way more muscular than lomachenko. Also theres a 138 lb rehydration clause and rigo has a few more inches reach. If anything the weight jump helped him because he packed on a lot of lean muscle.

I was rolling with the 'good big man beats good little man' argument for awhile but in every interview I see (not just NSB) Rigo's indicating that the size won't bother him at all. Add in Rigo's small reach advantage and I'm kinda starting to believe the dude...

Picking Rigo by close decision. I think Loma will have a hard time getting close enough to do his thing. Geared up for this weekend!!

Loma never offered to go to 124, he agreed to 126. Rigo came back with an ok on 126 with a rehydration clause of 134, which Loma agreed to. Then Rigo pulled out making a couple of statements, one that he didn't feel comfortable at 126 after all, and also discomfort about the money.

I guess Rigo was banking on other opportunities coming up, but they never did, so now he's back with Loma at an even higher weight, with inactivity having stacked up and a couple years older.

I for one would be shocked if Rigo won. I don't doubt how good he was for one second, but that's past tense now, he's older and he's visibly lost a step. Rigo showed he was a class above Donaire at Donaire's preferred weight of 122, but remember how Donaire couldn't carry his (pre Rigo) power/dominance at 122 up to 126 ? Then remember how Walters blamed inactivity for his poor showing against Loma ? Rigo has been far more inactive than Walters was. add in the weight and age factors, and Rigo winning (or even looking good) would be a shock.

IMO Lomo's size will be the deciding factor against this great technical boxer , who has squandered his career in many different ways ...through injury in activity personality, as well as a nut fan-friendly style Etc ...17 fights only.. what a shame he could have been one of the all-time greats at the lower weights... poor guidance by his management that's the best thing I could say

That and defense wins championships. Usually in fights like this no one looks that great. If the booing starts does Lomachenko force the action and takes the greater risks??? Or does he take a win anyway he can get it??
