    • Lennox Lewis was the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. Wladimir Klitschko was never the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and for much of his reign, he brother was considered the superior fighter.

    • Lennox Lewis is a three time world heavyweight champion. Wladimir Klitschko is a two time world heavyweight champion, and only if you retroactively count a WBO title that was unrecognized when he held it.

    • Lewis has two losses, both of which were avenged by knockouts. Klitschko has five losses.

    • Mike Tyson and Rid**** Bowe both blatantly ducked Lewis, both of them vacating the WBC title because their handlers knew Lewis would destroy them. The #1 heavyweight during Klitschko's prime was his brother, so we never got to see if Klitschko was really the best.

    • Lewis beat Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson, to definitively prove himself as the best of his era. Wladimir never got to prove that since he couldn't fight Vitali, but Lewis fought Vitali and stopped him.

Honestly, if povetkin and joshua fought i don't even know who I would pick. Aj could get sparked, problem is povetkin is more like a cruiserweight

Pulev and povetkin need to fight AJ orwilder. Their great stepping stone fights.
Most boxers aren't 6'6 250 with an 81 inch reach. Wlad used to put all his weight on shorter opponent's backs fatiguing them, he also used his height to prevent any and all inside fighting by utilizing his height/reach.

Guys like Ward, Mayweather, Hopkins, Lewis and a host of others held but can actually fight on the inside, Wlad cannot.

This was especially evident vs Fury, his holding was rendered ineffective by a taller/rangier/skilled guy and he was completely lost. Fury's body was there all night, even Wlad's trainer begged him to go to the body, instead Wlad threw 3 body shots the entire fight.

Pre-holding he was also getting sparked by journeymen, he's that dependent on it. The Povetkin fight didn't really teach us anything as Wlad should've been DQ'd, the amount of holding, wrestling, throw downs it was insane.

AJ would beat Povetkin relatively easily. You're underrating AJ's chin and skill level. It's really common for young boxers to get dropped early in their careers. If I made a list of all the elite boxers that have gotten rocked/dropped by journeymen early in their careers you'd see that getting dropped by a puncher like Wlad isn't half as bad as people make it out to be.

The 1st 4 rounds of AJ-Wlad was a complete shut out, it took a mistake from AJ, him punching himself out, for Wlad to get back into the fight. Once he regained that 2nd wind he was back at it.

Wladimir for me. I think if it was Wlad that hit Lennox flush like Vitali did he would have gone down for sure. Much harder puncher than his brother although the chin isn't as good.

I'd say they are pretty close. Around no. 10 all time. I'd probably sway towards Wlad because of longevity and body of work. But they are close.

Lewis never beat Rid**** Bowe who arguably has a better resume than him and was the better boxer of their generation.

The Klitschko brothers beat EVERYBODY in their era. You can't expect brothers to fight each other.

Lennox never beat him in the pros and that's all that matters. He also lost to two low level fighters during his prime and also to Ray Mercer but got the gift from the judges.

Lewis is probably the most overrated HW boxer ever. He wouldn't even be elite in the current era. Joshua, Wilder and Fury all beat him. Probably Povetkin and Ortiz too.
