You clearly do not know anything about the business of boxing. Whether one fighter is better or not is subjective and it does not dictate the pay! And using Lom in this conversation is useless because Rigo does not command huge paychecks in general! Rigo made 120K against Flores which has nothing to do with Lom or Arum. Why do you think Rigo made only 120K against Flores??? Hint: His promoter.Comment

why not go back to 124 at that time?. Is not equal and fair loma going down 2 pounds while rigo going up 2 pounds?. If he wanted the fight he should didit. Why not going bavk to 126 now instead of making rigo going up 4 pounds?. He wants the weight advantage always, but if rigo wins he will be more humiliated now
Why did Rigo call him out and not specify it to be at 124? Why only do that once you've called the guy out and he's said yes.
Why didn't Sanchez go down to 124 for Gomez by the same token? Why didn't Gomez go down to Zarate? Why didn't Whitaker go down to Chavez? Why didn't Leonard go down to Duran? and about 3.9m more examples.
You can't be a 100k fighter who fights once a year fighting a guy who's making around 10x more per fight, fighting 3 times a year and then have him come down 2 measly pounds to a catch weight. You do know fighters move up occasionally in Boxing?
Rigo barked, Loma called the bluff and then came the excuses. Your being extremely biased and asking for things that are unprecedented. ****, when Hopkins called out Oscar, Oscar accepted but also did a catchweight because well he was a $10-15m fighter dictating to a $1-2m fighter. He could do it. Rigo is a 100k fighter and this was only 1 weight class and it's also only his 1st ever weight class.
Humiliating offer of a 700% pay rise. **** I'll take that type of humiliation at my job especially since the work is supposed to be easy and I asked for it anyway.Last edited by chrisJS; 11-28-2017, 01:19 PM.Comment

I can't think of any fight with this much skill in the ring....
I can't think of any fight in history with this much skill in the ring when you add the two fighters abilities together. I'm really excited about this fight even though I think it should have happened much sooner as now Lomo is bigger and Rigo is a bit older now. However Rigo I'm still very excited about this one.Comment

He has a better resume, accomplished more and has been pro less than half the time not to mention exhibiting better all-round skills in the ring.
GGG didn't get an equal split to Canelo despite being the better fighter. Hopkins didn't get an equal split with Oscar despite being the better fighter.
Rigo brings no fans, ratings or belts to the party in a Loma match. The offer of $750 for him was over the top and should have been roughly half.Comment

Be ready to watch Rigo do what he does best!!!! Stick and move, stick and move, stick and move... If Loma does not cut off the ring, this will be an easy win for Rigo but will ultimately be booed out of the arena and the judges will once again rob the victor of his win based on his similar but superior Mayweather style!!!!
If Loma does not press the fight this will be a super boring fight!!!Comment

That would be a great team. They'd stick to boxing and spare us the hyperbolic bulls*t and outside the ring stuff
Even trainers can suck as bad as the media guys at times. I remember Teddy called Keith Thurman the "best athlete in boxing" I had to mute the tv after that one lol
You must sure hate Teddy!
Or yourself, I'm not sure...Comment

It's intriguing as hell, but no where close to best fight ever "on paper", not even best of the last 5 years. May/Pac and Ward/Kovalev both looked better on paper because both were very evenly matched. Loma is going to win, people expect him to win, but we know Rigo is talented enough to pull something off and therein lies the intrigue.Comment
