Comments Thread For: Roy Jones: On Paper, Lomachenko-Rigondeaux is Best Fight Ever

Former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. is salivating at the sheer mention of the upcoming dream fight between world champions Vasyl Lomachenko (9-1, 7 KOs) and Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KOs). I actually don't think this comment is super crazy. You're going to see more skill in this fight than you will have seen in GGG v. Canelo by far.

Had this fight taken place a division or two below I'd agree. I just think there's too much of a weight difference to make this really competitive which is a massive shame.

We need Roy, Paulie & Ward all together commentating on fights. Real Authentic Commentators! I think Keith Thurman can be a great Commentator down the road also.

Notice Roy says "on paper." Roy knows that the casuals might not like this one; they don't like watching chess matches! I can't wait for this, and I hope Spence Jr. vs. Crawford takes place in 2018 too! I'd actually pay to see that one!

That would be a great team. They'd stick to boxing and spare us the hyperbolic bulls*t and outside the ring stuff

Even trainers can suck as bad as the media guys at times. I remember Teddy called Keith Thurman the "best athlete in boxing" I had to mute the tv after that one lol

This, I agree with (at least in regards to skill sets)
