he says its 50/50 between Wilder and Joshua here, but i just read another article with him where he clearly favours AJ...

So I ask who will win when Joshua and Deontay Wilder meet in an explosive world heavyweight title unification bout next year.

“Joshua. He’s much better than Wilder – who is wild. They’re good fighters but Joshua wins. I like Joshua. I like Danny Jacobs. That’s my guy, a good dude. Keith Thurman. He’s the truth. Triple G [Gennady Golovkin] is a good fighter.”
The outspoken 49-year-old former world champion turned bounty hunter tells Donald McRae ‘I still think quick. I’m fast. I’m funny’

Good read btw. If you are a Toney fan

He has some nice words to say about El Presidente Trump:

Toney is less enthused by Donald Trump. “He’s a ****ing *******. Remember when he was a promoter and he had me and Roy [Jones] on the same bill in Atlantic City. I should’ve punched him in the face but my mom and Jackie stopped me. Trump pointed to me and was saying: ‘Call Whatsisname over here.’ I’m thinking: ‘Whatsisname? I’m your headline attraction and you can’t say my name?’ I said to Trump: “I’m going to bust your head open, mother****er.’ My mom and Jackie pulled me away but I should’ve knocked his head off and saved the world lots of trouble.

    Toney is old school.

Trump vs Toney on PPV. I'd pay all my money to see that

Your best heavyweight chose to represent another country on the world's biggest stage. England loves him patriotically, but he loves England opportunistically.

                Of what?

Lennox has accomplished more than AJ has ever had.

Perhaps if AJ showed the same eagerness to fight whomever, wherever, however, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Would any of you work at McDonalds for min wage when you were also offered a tech job you were trained for, making 4 to 6 times the money?

Pro boxing is a biz. A biz these fighters can't be involved with in the ring for very many years. A Wilder fight is chump change in the U.S. compared to him coming to England. That's simple fact. And guess wot? The fight still happens, and both fighters make a he!!uva lot more money in England This has zero to do with ballz IOW.

Toney, who sparred with Wilder in the past, views the contest with Joshua as a 50-50 fight where the winner will be the boxer who lands that first big shot.

I agree with this, both lack great defense and both have great power..Whoever lands the first huge shot wins IMO unless one shows some inner greatness and gets up and keeps coming like Joshua did with Wlad..But Wilder is younger and more aggressive then Wlad, and Joshua is also better then anyone Wilder has ever faced
