I hate this "discussion" but when a fighter has an all-time great HOF career and he doesn't fight a great in his prime despite spending half of his career as the shot caller in the sport questions can be raised. Marquez is the closest as he was near prime but the weight jump of two divisions after just jumping up two divisions renders that fight useless.
The greats Floyd beat were in the same prime he was in, same age give or take, most crossing weight classes making not all fights make able, it was also happening inside the same era.

When you cut out all the BS with fighters ducking which is fan talk when they don't get the fight they want.

Floyds career on face value is is fitting for an ATG, can it be better, every fighter can have better resumes, Floyds is one of the best to go through unbeaten, no fighter can fight every one so no matter what you will have a mountain crying so and so didn't fight my guy, fans just love to argue about sht that don't mean nothing.

Fact is he beat Manny and goes through Mannys entire career undefeated, that's not shting on Manny that's saying Floyd is a greater fighter than Manny and Manny was great, its ok to be second to Mayweather, if you guys would just understand the pecking order based on performance instead of trying to bag either fighter you would see how history will place them.

Again, didn't go down that way. The biggest Floyd hater on HBO (Lampley) had Floyd winning big. The biggest Floyd hater on NSB (Pac-Boy) had Floyd winning. If Arum or Roach thought PAC won they'd be screaming at the top of their lungs. They're not. Why is all this? Floyd won the fight and it wasn't close. PAC is a genuine HOFer, ATG and a legend but with a h2h win and what he's done with the rest of his career, history will remember Floyd as the better fighter. You don't have to like it but it is what it is.

If it's any constellation, PAC is a better person by a large amount but Floyd is the better fighter by the same margin.

What fighter of the generation? It's just your imagination that there is a figther of the generation award.

Pac beat floyd with just one healthy arm. The amazing part is pac beat him in his own game, pac is the one countering the counter puncher.

The only thing Manny won was second place....in the fight. If we're talking of the generation, he could be third.

The Pacquiao who battled with and got the best of Barrera and Morales?...the one all the way through the 2nd Marquez fight?

Yep...THAT version of Pacquiao is legendary...I appreciate him.

After that?...nope...he started taking PEDs and became a Mayweather wannabe...

Pacquiao, Emmanuel Dapidran...aka Manny "Money" Pacquiao...not impressed with that one at all...
