Floyd was expected to win against Canelo. Don't get me wrong it was a great performance but Floyd was always the favourite.

This is the same Wlad who had barely lost a single round in 12 years and had completely dominated the HW division, most people had Wlad in their top 3 P4P lists at the time.

Incredible performance by the Gypsy King. Take a bow son.

This thread wasn't fully derailed. Impressive.

        Any other lists/nominations?

Floyd over Corrales. Corrales was favored going in. Was the heavier guy, taller and had a longer reach. Corrales was the #1 ranked SFW in the world and #5 pound-for-pound.

Floyd absolutely destroyed him in won every round and knocked down Corrales five times en route to a stoppage.

Lederman compared him to Ray Robinson after. Lampley compared him to Pep I believe.

Floyd coming off a 2 year layoff to beat the ever living **** outta Jmm is a top 10 win in this era.

rigo vs donaire is an amazing win, for someone with so little pro experience and being outweighed by as much as he was rigo put in 1 of the atg performances vs p4p top 5 at that time.

floyd vs marquez is also a great win, yes marquez was moving up classes but floyd was coming from a layoff and he made marquez (who at the time was running through everyone) look like a sack of ****.

tim bradley vs marquez is a very underrated win, marquez coming off a big ko then gets taken to school by bradley

ward vs kovalev, say what u want he made kov quit like a b1tch.

martinez vs williams, two fought a great fight the first time & paul was iron chinned so no one really expected a ko.

fury vs kliticko, mind games won it for fury, wlad was just puzzled and scared throughout the whole fight. great win over an atg

kelly pavlik vs jermaine taylor, outwilled a very talented fighter and rose to fame

ward vs froch, great win with a broken hand over an atg
Not to nit-pick, but did you just call Froch an ATG? He will be pleased. He may be even prouder than when he beat Groves in front of 80.000 fans at Wembley.

Impressive performance but Floyd wasn't the underdog. It was a pick'em going in and Corrales was killing himself at that weight. Corrales was going to move to 135 but Arum rushed them into it probably because of his prison sentence coming up.

An excellent win still but with it not being over a great fighter it's probably not a candidate for the best.

Not really when you consider Marquez (who'd just moved from 126-135 in no time) had to come up two full divisions and Floyd didn't have the courtesy to make the contracted weight.

Intriguing you find that a great win but Hagler beating Hearns (who had defeated Benitez and Duran coming in) was nothing. Then again didn't you once say Hagler defeated Duran after Hearns had done so? Hahahaha YDKSAB

Corrales was the favorite going in.

It matters where the fighter is when the fight happened. Torrecampo and JMM knocked Manny out. Torrecampo did it first, but no way would we consider it the same as the JMM ko based on where Manny was at the time.

At the time they fought, Corrales was undefeated, prime, top 5 p4p and ranked #1 at the weight.

Can you tell me when Manny, JMM, Barerra or Morales beat and undefeated, prime, top 5 p4p fighter ranked #1 in their weight class?
