White is trying his hand at boxing because there is a lot of money it. Whether his move actually benefits our sport remains to be seen. If he tries to cross his fighters over, which I suspect he will, the sport may not fare so well.

It wouldn't have been the same, but it would have been big nonetheless. Floyd's fans, those who want to see him lose and Spence's fans would have come out in force. Casuals would have tuned in too, because of Floyd's fame.

floyd is 40, ain't really been raked thru the coals yet, but you and the floyd boys would cry about him being retired and can't get in there with these guys...this ain't nothing new, he retired after hatton when cotto and the boys looked formidible
I only get annoyed that you lie. That and your use of NSB as a psychologist rather than paying the dough to deal with your hurt over the loss.

if that makes you feel like you have lessened Floyd or somehow made his career less by saying that, cool. They all looked formidable let you tell it.

Note: to all reading this exchange this is the part of the show where djtmal elevates Margs, Pwill, Cotto and Manny to Ali/leonard/robinson level because Floyd didn't fight them. while lowering anyone he did fight to the Joe Horn level.

So now is the perfect time to go piss. you will not miss anything. trust me.

Dana is just gonna pimp the Conor/Paulie money.

I can't say you are wrong. Maybe Floyd comes back one more time but I don't see it. It definitely would've been nice to see floyd/Spence but after Spence bustin that ass in sparring, I doubt it was going to happen when the conor fight was out there.

Obviously Crawford's length and speed and Spence's power and strength would be difficult for any 41 yr old. Thurman is more of a boxer so Floyd would have a better chance of beating him.
            still avoiding this huh? LOL!!

so thurman is more of a boxer type than spence and crawford?

you get mad because you can't put on your cape and tights properly when i or anybody says floyd avoided his biggest challenges when he ducked out of the division after hatton...., and this latest round of threats, spence, thurman, and crawford...floyd's too old, oh you gotta pay him all this money...roger's sick...any old excuse will do right? just admit floyd's been low risk longer than you care to admit

I only get mad when you lie. As in, "Floyd said his hands were hurt and that is why he retired". But since its Floyd, you make up whatever negative thing you think lowers him. Cool. I get why you do it-anger over the loss. I just don't think that is an adult way to handle it.

The latest round of threats. Dude,he's retired. Oh yeah, in your mind its "he isn't really retired, he is just waiting for the easiest $100 mil payday to come". So once again the issue is your lying to fit your agenda.

If you think he has been low risk since 2007 fine. In the real world the dudes who ducked and refused to fight him before then finally got around to fighting him once they saw he was the cash cow.

Make sure you email all this to the IBHOF selection committee. I'm sure they will take it into consideration when voting.

i should create a thread to see what would have happened had Manny won? My guess is your therapist would still be driving a Neon instead of a Mercedes.

so the pain just magically went away then floyd came back out of retirement?

[QUOTE=The Big Dunn;18212831]I only get mad when you lie. As in, "Floyd said his hands were hurt and that is why he retired". But since its Floyd, you make up whatever negative thing you think lowers him. Cool. I get why you do it-anger over the loss. I just don't think that is an adult way to handle it.

Floyd saying he retired after Hatton because his hands was hurting. Get this. Is an EXCUSE. Anybody ducking out under those circumstances would get the same from me. You seeing my opinion as negative is just you putting on your cape. Thats your issue buddy.

The latest round of threats. Dude,he's retired. Oh yeah, in your mind its "he isn't really retired, he is just waiting for the easiest $100 mil payday to come". So once again the issue is your lying to fit your agenda.

You damn right because he already did it just like that already, its my belief that he isn't retired, and if you look at Floyd's pattern, and penchant for fighting when the $'s highest and the risk is lowest, its a good damn chance that he does try to pull off another scam. Speculation is fair game in my book.

If you think he has been low risk since 2007 fine. In the real world the dudes who ducked and refused to fight him before then finally got around to fighting him once they saw he was the cash cow.

I think he was low risk? Lookey here. I KNOW he was, and still is, low risk. Cotto, Shane, Pac, PWill, Margarito...all of those guys said lets go but Floyd was on vacation nursing his hurting hands from those two grueling fights with Oscar and Hatton huh. The risks have become lower and lower since Hatton, and have hit their lowest with Mcgregor, and they even had the nerve to make that an official win on the books. Stay blind fam.

Make sure you email all this to the IBHOF selection committee. I'm sure they will take it into consideration when voting.

Everything he did up to Hatton put him in the HOF, everything after put him somewhere in the mix on the ATG lists. Not at the top tier though.

i should create a thread to see what would have happened had Manny won? My guess is your therapist would still be driving a Neon instead of a Mercedes.

Sticking with the thread topic, I would have like to know what had happened had he fought Thurman instead of Berto
