the hate was real back then and may wanted to make a statement. if someone can take a shot or is defensively sound like may, they can time pac. and whos better at countering than may

every non pac fan/may hater knows pac stalled the fight.

I deff think he beats him,Lets face it boxers get older quiker then punchers(pac not complety typical puncher) But if May beat him 9-3 10-2 in 15 he beats even even worse in 2010 imo.Just not sure he would have stopped him.A clearly roided Marquez had to hit him with perfect shot that he just jumped into.

i think may has ''power'' but doesnt want to commit to it. remember, prior to moving up, he had a decent ko %.

pac would have been overly aggressive and walked into something he didnt see coming, not respecting mays ''power''.

There are levels to boxing but there is also the old saying that styles makes fights. I think Margarito would have been interesting. Gun to my head I'd pick Mayweather, hell, just ask me I'd pick Mayweather, but that was a real missed opportunity for his career. Not because it'd make a lot of money and enhance his legacy, but because I feel we would have seen Floyd pull out some new tools. People point to Paul Williams too and while on paper it looks interesting PWill never fought tall and probably wouldnt be able to trouble Mayweather at all.

I'm aware of all the details. There was a lot of posturing going on. Funny how Floyd suddenly decided to champion testing for that fight tho. At this point it's clear that it's possible to be dirty and beat tests anyway...they must not have know back then. I think Floyd was a little bit shook tbh...he had 0 problems with that fight not being made.

You may be right I just see it as a shutout type. But your right Mays(like PEA) power is underated also their bodywork.

Nothing funny about it??????? Lets be honest Pac was suspected by many in boxing buis.Goldern Boy and May team came right out and said it(and they paid a little for it)But MANY in boxing did and does think Pac was cheating. He never got caught so it is was it is.

5 yrs later, the hate turns into ''meh''. the lust for the ko is gone.

There is a reason posters use different criteria when assessing Floyd. It is because his contemporaries were all miles beneath him.

Plus he was a easy guy to dislike. And most posters are fans of certain fighter not fans of boxing. Also Floyd was really hated by many writers and people just drink kool aid.I mean I made a thread about a guy ducking #2 and fightin #3 and should have seen all the people to defend him.Really try and think of that happening in any other sport?????????And the fans support it!!!
