there is no point. I have an opinion that you disagree with...and you tried to refute it using conjecture, and here we are.

I disagree. The fact that he agreed to be tested ost up to a 20 day cutoff dispels that notion, then actually conceded to a 15 day cutoff.

I don't understand why you can't simply give the guy credit as the best of this era, 50-0. The fact of the matter is every fighter you claimed would beat him got dominated when they stepped in the ring with Floyd. So many of you claim you know boxing, you say you understand there are levels to this game, yet you still denied and played down Floyd's abilities.

Fact is you should of realized by 1998 there was no other active fighter on his level. No fighter in his era has ever come close to matching his skill and talent yet for 20 years you bet against him, told casuals he'd lose to what we now know to be lesser fighters and even today you still posting nonsense.

You watched an entire career, watched a guy make history, and even then you still dont know **** about boxing!

          Pity
Agree a lot of people missed a GREAT fighter by being blind to their hate. And I can see why you don't like him outside of ring(sometimes I wanna tell him to STFU)but he was a ATG inside the ring and it aint even close.

Floyd will never get the same credit as the old legends simply because he fought in the age of internet where every fighter has a ton of haters who spit on him which then changes the perception of this fighter.

Every single elite fighter has more haters than fans these days. Fanboys usually like 3 or 4 fighters and **** on dozens of other fighters. So it's inevitable that all the negative attention is going to tarnish the reputation of fighters to at least some extent.

It's not just Floyd, ask about any elite fighter of this era and these are the majority of the responses you're going to get online...

"Klitschko? Weak era, weak chin, got exposed by Fury..."

"Pacquiao? Lost many times, catchweights, KO6, PEDs..."

"Golovkin? Fought bums, lost to Jacobs/Canelo, no defense, stiff..."

              "Ward? Cheat, headbutts..."

Ali was lucky that there was no internet back then. We live in a negative and pessimistic era where people just don't want to give credit to anybody.

Mayweather did things his way for better or worse. I takes a lot of guts to break away from the conventional way of doing things. Yes he was a great boxer. I certainly enjoyed watching him when he was Pretty Boy Floyd. Not so much as Money May. I have my own views about the PAC May fight but I don't want to derail the thread. Congratulations Floyd for a great career.

You know good and well Khan would have been put to sleep, likely Hatton style, against Floyd. Timing beats speed - and there's no fighter alive who can time shots like TBE.

Pac has never been a cerebral fighter and that's what he would of had to be to compete with Floyd.

                      in 2010?
Floyd was hittable while Manny was steam rolling thru his opponents.
