Yea Burly would have been easy champ if ever got the chance.Same with Ezzard Charles he was prob best light heavy ever.He fought Moore 3 times before Moore won title.1st two he won by unan dec 3rd he KNOCKED HIM OUT.And this was prime Moore not the one who fought Durelle or anybody else during his reign.He also beat J Maxim like 3-4 times shortly before he won title.Most people just think of the heavyweight version(which was a little underated too).

Yeah lot of guys in that position, it is sad regarding tape. Regarding their legacy: murderer's row, the black fighters of the day, guys who could be avoided, they need fans with discriminating taste to understand and convey their stories.

Discriminating fans take a lot of ribbing, and there are some writers who can be very aggressive about trying to make sure the older guys were looked at as neanderthals lauded as fine specimens... lol its a back and fourth for sure.
