If Floyd was left getting support from just the black community he would've never cracked 1 million buys. I guarantee you that. Support for him is far from being a strong as posters here assume.

Not saying Latinos are buying because they like him. But those are the people buying PPVs. I'm willing to bet Black people buy UFC at a larger % than boxing PPV.

When I talk to 20-30 something year old black people, they've seen maybe 1 or 2 of Floyd's fights. Whereas when I talk to Latinos (from a diverse range if countries) most of them have not only seen more than a few fights, they have very strong opinions on Floyd (both bad and good). I live in NYC, so I think it's a pretty diverse sample.
