It was never a scam. People wanted to see it, that's it. Nothing wrong with that. Even the people who said Conor was going to win knew better, they were just hoping he got a lucky shot in, kind of like with #48. Stop being a hater & let it go.

HBO has to go at Floyd like this because they assumed his leaving wouldn't be a big deal. Floyd has generated nearly $1 billion since he signed with SHO that HBO could've had a portion of.

Had they still been in business with Floyd during this period I'd argue they have made significantly more than SHO because they are much better at promoting and marketing events and the Manny and Conor fights may have yielded much more.

I'm surprised because they made the same decision with Tyson and it backfired as well.

If this becomes a reality, I don't see how anyone could defend Floyd or remain a fan. It Is bad enough that he had any fans at all after fighting a guy making his boxing debut, but to fight him for a second time while admitting that his main objective Is to **** his fans for the most money possible. The proof Is obvious with the $100 price tag.

Floyd fans have to be feeling like one of his women. They continue getting beat yet keep coming back.
