Golovkin would be a solid contender in the 90s. He wouldn't beat guys like Hopkins, Jones Jr, Toney, McClellan, Jackson etc. because he is too damn hittable, and slow. If Danny Jacobs is keeping him honest. What would Mclellan, or Jackson have done to him. Jones Jr. would have torched Golovkin. Hopkins would have gave him a combination mugging/boxing clinic.
