Golovkin would've done quite well in the 80s and 90s. Stylistically he'd be a tough opponent for almost anybody. Leonard and Hagler are probably the main two that would beat him. He'd probably beat Duran in a very grueling fight and would be in an extremely close fight with Hearns(Hearns tended to struggle with sluggers but gave outboxers trouble)
