What else were they supposed to do? They are only protecting him from AJ. This is just another example of a corrupt sanctioning body gone bad.

Team Ortiz should sue the WBA for suspending him without due process. He was their mandatory challenger. Where as in the case of the WBC, he was their voluntary.

The WBC has more leeway than the WBC because it didn't owe Ortiz that title defense but the WBA does.

Respect on the WBA following suit with the WBC situation. I wasn't expecting that & usually they (the other abc groups) don't seem to fall in line with each other with this sorta sh^t & its a commissions job to suspend a fighter before anything happens with rankings.

If it wasn't for the roids, would Gamboa and Ortiz have even had careers?

You do know wba uses VADA also for they drug program they have? And belt organizations usually follow whatever belt was being fought for at that time suspensions they gave him a way to get suspension thrown out if B sample come back clean

As long as this whole thing doesn't end with Fres Oquendo getting the shot then fair enough.

The fact is, Joshua was never going to face Ortiz with or without a dirty drug test in the first place just like he is never going to fight Deontay Wilder anytime soon and that's real talk. The WBA only saved him the trouble of ever having to challenge anyway; So congratulations and great work by the WBA. You've done your part just wonderfully in all of this mess.

Not surprised. The man is old and almost 40.

He has to use peds to contest against the young guns or else he won't survive.
