If this fight is going to generate any kind of real revenue then it's going to have to be on pay per view. One cannot expect to break box office records just on television licensing fees and the live gate alone. I think Eddie Hearns understands this; Especially when it comes to Deontay Wilder.
However, this is where it gets tricky. None of the titleholders in the Heavyweight division are pay per view attractions or known among the casual fan outside of the U.K.Comment

I agree with Mr. Hearn.
I bet you could cut all the bs talk about cuts & actually create a PPV % model using previous PPV revenue generated, gate revenue generated, TV ratings + sponsorships revenue. That could end all the talk & my assumption is promoters have something like that , even if its just in their head, to insure there guys gets what the promoter believes his guy or worth or even to try to get beyond that number going to his fighter.Comment
