Comments Thread For: Hearn: Wilder, Parker Do Not Warrant a 50-50 Split With Joshua!

Matchroom Sports promoter Eddie Hearn, who handles IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs), sees no reason to do unification with WBC champion Deontay Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs) in the United States - when the fight is so much bigger in the UK. Joshua's April fight with Wladmir Klitschko brought in 90,000 fans to Wembley in London, and his upcoming fight - on October 28 - with Carlos Takam, will have 70,000 fans at Principality in Cardiff.

70-30 split for wilder and 80-20 for Parker.

Yeah I agree. Bear in mind Hearn offered him 7mil for Whyte he should be looking at a lot more than that but like you said not even money.

Parker, at least he can say he's a big draw at home but wilder would deserve more than him too.

100% correct Eddie, Wilder and Parker are not on that level when it comes to star power. 90% of tickets will be sold because of AJ.

This is it right here. Wilder can do all the calling out he wants, but he aint gunna agree on the money. This the main reason the fight aint happening any time soon.

At best, Wilder deserves a 40% take, Parker is lucky if he deserves 20%.
