Russell has was not even close to that when Loma beat him. Loma was the best opponent Russell had ever fought and Loma was 1-1
Donaire was and still is overrated... always beating up smaller guys. Rigo exposed him (that's why his team tried to avoid this fight for so long). And as soon as he fought someone his own size... well... he was axed!

            No, and below is why.

No. A guy who gets dropped FREQUENTLY has a glass chin.

I can deal with the occasional put down, it happens, but when I can rattle off five distinct occasions you got dropped or rocked - 5 SEPARATE fights someone put you on your ass, mind you, this MF'er has only had 18 fights!

So nearly 30% of his whole boxing career involved him getting rolled up like a buttermilk biscuit. LOL

Look, if Rigo had like 40 fights with just 5 incidents, we wouldn't be having this conversation, but when 30% of your fights somehow involved you doing a booty-dew, I call it like it is.

After Rigo, Knocks Loma the *** out, what will be the excuse? What will the haters say then?
Rigo is 2 divisons smaller, and much much older, so what will it mean after beating the **** out of Loma?

has had only 18 fights and according to you he has a glass chin cause he has been dropped 5 times..BUT..yet he has 0 losses...many boxers get dropped only to get back up to get stopped or get knock the fcuk out...i've yet to see that with rigondeaux...he got back up from those knock downs only to finish his opponent off...

And that's fine. His being undefeated is commendable and his ability to finish is laudable.

It doesn't change the fact that Rigo and the ring mat are BFFs.

And it's not just "5 times". I could even excuse it if were 5 times against the same opponent. Like Algieri.

No, it was 5 SEPARATE opponents that put him down. Out of 18 fights, that makes it much worse.

This is in the context of him facing a guy like Lomachenko who we know is quite capable of damaging shots - to tell the story that Rigo is certainly a challenging opponent, but people making it like Rigo is about walk through Loma? Come on, he better not try that hands down crap.

I don't know. Loma must be willing to take some risks by eating several punches in this fight in order to become victorious. He just might have to go in and bum rush Rigo from the very start to break his spirit because if he doesn't "The Jackal" will pick him apart from a distance all night long.
