As much as I like Thurman it does feel like he's trying to duck Spence

I don't think he's scared, he's just speaking from a position of power. He's in the driver's seat now so he can hem and haw about an up and coming fighter. Just like when he was calling out Mayweather AND Pacquiao and neither one even acknowledged him.

Eh, boxing works in cycles with sh^t like this. I mean anyone who was following boxing just for the last 4 or so years remembers when Thurman WAS Spence. Eventually Spence will be in Thurman's position when he won't be able to fight all the guys dropping his name and dummies will say he's ducking and silly sh^t like that too and the same mfers saying Thurman is ducking now will say Spence is ducking then.

I sorta agree but I can't think of a reason he would be scared. Unless he just doesn't want to get that first defeat. Especially from a guy who's been calling him out for about a year and half.

The thing is though is that Spence is the #2 best welterweight. He's not no up & comer that's not that known looking to make a name for himself. He's already made a name for himself & drew 6 million viewers for his fight against Bundu. Thurman is one of my favorite fighters but every interview he's done over this weekend seems he keeps jumping around the question of actually wanting the fight. It should happen by December 2018.

Thurman would be one of my favorite fighters. IF he fought more often than once a decade.

              Spence is my fave now.

This reflects the problem with boxing today in a nutshell.

He needs to make up for some lost time & get 3 fights in next year. One in February/March, one in the Summer, than one in December.

Should be fights that must be made by pbc.

These guys need to fight by next summer at the latest

Spence also said that Crawford has to establish himself as a WW in order for him to fight him

These are the fight that he is going to make money on and the more he wins the bigger the purses are going to be.

Lets see after his tune up how this will all turn out to be
