you do realize i could just post a video of the fight and the low blows right? some hbo connected people saying they were body shots right after the fight without having time to even review if they were in fact body shots or low blows isnt very convincing. you think words are more important than the actual video? ward cheated and won. thats what happened. pretending it didnt happen makes you weird. if golota was as protected as ward he would be unfefeated with 100 body shot ko's on his resume. we missed a great one

He got robbed twice. It's hard to forget something that stinks as bad as that second fight.

Well, come on. I was rooting for Kovalev to win, but - low blows or not - he was starting to fade badly in the second fight. Ward almost got him out of there before the low blows.

And, for the record, I had Ward edging the first fight, too.

second fight was even worse than the first. the first at least we got a fight that was finished. just a horrific robbery. second fight we didnt even get a fight since the ref starting in roudn 7 pretended that all of wards punches were body punches when they clearly werent. this is the same guy that ignored all of garcia's low blows against matthysse and his rabbit punch that knocked him down. they cant even hide their corruption its so obvious

I don't think they even tried. They know that NSAC is corrupt and the fan base they were planning to sell Ward to have no concept of fair play, so why bother?

So far as I know, there is nothing in the rules of boxing that says it's ok to hit your opponent in the groin repeatedly if he "starts to fade"

Paulie Malagnaggi asks a legit question here .. even if you think Ward's punches were legal, why no count for Kovalev?

Ward was hurt and in worse trouble in the first fight, but he got a count and a chance to regroup and come back. Why didn't Krusher get that chance too?

Fanboyism? Krusher will was broken, whenever he got hit in body he looked at ref, he was gassed, stunned with a clean shot laying on ropes holding him up one punch of that sequence was borderline he was getting stopped regardless of that flurry
