Nice, should be a great fight and I guess the plan is to unify the WBC and WBA in the first half of 2018. Whoever comes out on the other side of that will be a great opponent for Lomachenko

Stopping him early is certainly within the realm of possibility but Salido is one tough bastard who probably knows he is right near the end of his career. I could see him walking through a lot of big shots before ultimately succumbing. Plus, Berchelt is patient and doesn't rush things so that is also something to consider. Peace.

I usually defended Salido when it came to negotiating with Loma, but his team was the one that messed up here.
Salido has probably never made close to what he was offered against Loma which was from 720k-750k. Maybe even more with the Mexican TV.

Salido or more likely his Manager is just plain DUMB and wrecking his career financially.

If he just waited until April 2018, he could easily make 3 times the money against Lomo then he'll be getting against Berchelt.

Berchelt will probably win this by KO and then he'll get the big pay day against Lomo instead.

Loma will always be there. Even if Berchelt wins by KO, there will still be people looking to see Loma get some kind of revenge.

Good fight but Vegas is the wrong place for this fight. Just ask Duva and Main Events when they had Kovalev fight in Vegas in front of 2k people and had to give away tickets.
