I agree. That is what they were probably hoping to do.
It would have made more sense to go for Lomachenko first since it would have been a lot less harmful on Salido.
Berchelt punches hard with every single punch he throws, pretty much. If you aren't careful with him he could end your career.

Knowing how Klimas is, then yeah Salido probably won't get offered the fight again. Unless Salido can pull it off against Berchelt.

Klimas has already tried to negotiate several times with Salido's manager and they are never happy. It's not like he didn't try.
Salido's manager probably just cost his fighter the biggest pay day of his career.
I seriously doubt Salido has made anywhere near that amount.

He only made a little over 50k for the Vargas fight. He made 150k for the Martinez rematch and probably way less for the first fight.
I doubt he gets that much for this Berchelt fight.

In every Salido thread, you have people mentioning Lomachenko. You can tell that loss has really stuck in Loma fans' throats. If Salido had lost against Juanma, he would have never gotten a rematch, if he had lost against Loma we wouldn't even be talking about a rematch either.

I go with Salido. The old war horse, he just keeps ticking. Berchelt will play into his style. All that running around that some people call boxing, will give Salido breathing room. Berchelt is also having hand problems, too many easy to hit, feel good fights, on the way up. I'll go against the flow... again.

What pisses me off about this is that lomachenko supposedly signed to fight tiny rigo at 130 because berchelt was supposedly injured. And now suddenly they're both fighting at same time. All I know is that loma vs berchelt is the fight that should be happening & Arum probably wanted Rigo to quell the fans saying lomas been Cherrypicking, as rigos less of a risk than berchelt. And before lomasexuals flame me , I'm not saying rigos a easy fight just far less dangerous than Berchelt,I will give loma his credit if he kos rigo though.
