Lol. Wlad was taking him lightly according to Pulev? All the talk in the buildup to that fight was that Klitschko was OBSESSED!!! LMAO. Klitschko proved it too with probably his best performance since he fought Pulev. I had thoughts going in that Pulev could make this competitive with his jab and hang around for a while, but everything I hear out of his mouth makes me think he has no confidence in pulling this off. Pulev is getting smashed

I think even Klitschko himself would disagree about Pulevs comments. He did not take AJ lightly and he did prepare verry well as always.

Pulev is that Mate Parlov-like kind of secondary fighter from East Europe that occasionally manages to get a few years of light upon him before fading to Bolivian

He might not get out of the first round. It depends how long Joshua wants to play with him.

A Pulev win would represent a MASSIVE earthquake in boxing.

              Absolute rubbish.

Wlad looked good against Joshua because he has a good style for Wlad. I said it before the fight, if that fight was 3 years ago, Joshua would be almost considered a tailor made typical Wlad opponent in terms of style.

He looked awful against Fury because Fury would be a stylistic nightmare for any version of Wlad, win or lose.

Wlad looked good because he was fighting Joshua, not because he was still great. It was still the same old Wlad that fought Jennings and Fury. He didn't improve or get back to form at 40 years old and being inactive.

The one thing you have to worry about Joshua is his punch resistance. Especially since he started kinda late in the sport. Pulev doesn't seem like a devastating puncher but you always have to worry if Joshua gets hurt, will he be able to come back like he did against Klitschko again.

I believe that. Pulev is garbage.

It would be hilarious, but not likely. Pulev is a joke.

His best win is over Chisora. His other notable wins are over Ustinov, Thompson & Dimitrenko. I don't count the Sam Peter win as we all know Peter was done long ago. Thompson was in his 40s & the other 2 were fringe guys at best. Neither Ustinov or Dimitrenko were able to get to the next level. He probably wasn't ready because he played it safe & never fought anyone who was a real threat to knock him out. Look at what Joey Abell did. Abell is a journeyman but he has one punch knock out power. He's a poor man's Corrie Sanders & when he landed flush he dropped Pulev. Sure it was a flash knockdown but it made him look vulnerable. Klitschko was a big step up from the fringe guys he beat & he exposed Pulev pretty quickly. The only 2 one punch power threats he fought put him on the canvas. I suspect Wilder & Joshua will do the same. I think Pulev has been carefully matched by his team. There are numerous HWs I would like to see him fight. Miller, Parker, Helenius, Haye, Washington, Whyte, Breazeale, Molina, Stiverne, Povetkin, Mansour, Either Fury, Teper, Duhaupas, Ruiz, etc. I still think Joshua will take him out in a few rounds. Pulev is a tough guy & he will stand in there & exchange with anyone. Unfortunately he will be massively out gunned. He's bringing a potato gun to a fight with an opponent that is armed with a rocket launcher. I'm not sure if Pulev will see the 4th or 5th round...
