Comments Thread For: Pulev: I Wasn't Ready for Klitschko; He Took Joshua Lightly

In hindsight, Kubrat Pulev realizes he wasn't ready to challenge Wladimir Klitschko three years ago. The Bulgarian contender was undefeated at the time, but he wasn't as prepared as possible to dethrone the long-reigning heavyweight champion in his first world title fight. Klitschko knocked out Pulev in the fifth round of their November 2015 bout in Hamburg, Germany, a little more than a year before British underdog Tyson Fury upset Klitschko.

He's going to find he's not ready for A.J. either.

AJ. will blow him out .

Concensus was it was one of Wlads best performances for years.

So that's at complete odds with 'taking him lightly'.

              Pulevs deluded and getting smashed.

Joshua beat Wlad, and Pulev's just a mini-Wlad.

It took Pulev 6 years and 21 fights to get to Klitchko .

It took Joshua about 4 years and 19 fights to get to Klitchko with also far less boxing background .

If any fight ever Klitchko wouldn't have taken lightly his entire career it would be the Joshua one after NOT taking Fury seriously ! This guy like the rest after he loses will be ...but .....but .......but didnt realise Joshua was so this and that .

I believe Joshua fought an equally ,if not better focused Klitchko as ive ever seen him ,he will also be fighting a more alert Pulev .

                  Joshua 4th rnd K.O !

Newly stoical Wladimir Klitschko obsessed with beating Anthony Joshua to regain his titles

Klitschko has put a life as a motivational speaker on hold to target a return to the very top of his sport, after he was unceremoniously dethroned by Tyson Fury in 2015
