I usually don't make it a habit to call people names unless it's warranted. Your score is pretty similar to the HBO score. I won't accuse you of just going along with what you heard on the initial broadcast but I would be curious to know what rounds you gave to each fighter. I watched it twice. The first time I thought Jacobs won. When I actually scored the fight it was easy to score it for Jacobs. I might watch it again to try to block out any perceived bias I might have. I just think there was too much invested in the Canelo fight for a Jacobs to get a fair shake even in his home town. If it wasn't for the KD the cries of"robbery" would be loud. The KD gave the judges an out.

No problem with the corner throwing in the towel to protect their guy. The problem is the trash Brook talked before the fight and continued talking after the fight. Spence's trainer called him on it. Brook lost the fight, he got beat down and he probably would have gotten knocked out. Brook would have showed class if he accepted the loss and moved on and the same goes for JacobsStop laughing at your own pathetic attempt at being funny. The aftermath of Brook vs GGG and Jacobs vs GGG is not even remotely the same. Brook was a welterweight moving up to fight the best middleweight on the planet. What would you prefer the corner do if someone broke your eye socket? Let you hang around and take more permanent damage? I'll bet you're a genuine coward in real life.Comment

Damn it. Bellew makes a good point. And btw, I'm telling Iron Mike that you're thlagging hith voith off. He'th gonna be mad with you.This. Jacobs said it all when the final bell rang and he fell down to his knees by the ropes or whatever can’t remember at the moment but the message either way was clear. He was emotionally and physically exhausted and he was overjoyed at having lasting all 12 rounds and going the distance with Golovkin. I thought Tony Bellew said it best when he was talking with a British tv commentator who said Jacobs won and Bellew saidnsomething to the effect of “He didn’t win. He did better than we expected. He did better than the oddsmakers, the public and everyone was thinking before the fight. And I give him credit for that. He fought hard and should hold his head high. But he lost the fight. I think some people are gettin a bit carried away just because he did better than expected.”Comment

any fight is easy to score when want to score it for the guy you want. what 7 rounds did jacobs win? did you give him the first 3 cause he wasnt getting killed as you expected? when you go back and watch them....oh he wasnt really winnign at all. this could be scored widely for ggg or closely for ggg dependin on a couple rounds where jacobs landed less but probably landed better. how in the world does jacobs win though?I usually don't make it a habit to call people names unless it's warranted. I did score the first 3 for Jacobs but I had asterisk next to rounds 1 and 3 indicating they were close so they could have gone to Golovkin. Of course the the 4th was 10-8 for Golovkin. I had one even round. I also had round 8 as another close round that could have gone to Golovkin. To be honest I only gave Golovkin 3 clear rounds including the 10-8 round. I'm acknowledging 3 close rounds. I thought the close rounds went to Jacobs but they were rounds that weren't decisively in his favor. If the judges took those rounds away then yes we have an even fight with the KD. I'm clear that the 3 close rounds should've gone to Jacobs. If the "fix" was in (for the sake of the Canelo fight), those are the rounds the judges would give to Golovkin and could sleep well at night because they weren't decisive enough for Jacobs.any fight is easy to score when want to score it for the guy you want. what 7 rounds did jacobs win? did you give him the first 3 cause he wasnt getting killed as you expected? when you go back and watch them....oh he wasnt really winnign at all. this could be scored widely for ggg or closely for ggg dependin on a couple rounds where jacobs landed less but probably landed better. how in the world does jacobs win though?
I've been consistent on this fight just like I've been consistent on the Canelo/Golovkin fight in his favor. I know I won't change anyone's mind one way or the other but at least I've made an attempt to explain my position. All I get from the opposing view is punch stat and he "knocked Jacobs on his ass."Comment
