Erik Morales, Meldrick Taylor, Julian Jackson, Donald Curry and Winky Wright. I think everyone in my list deserves to be in. Who is sharing same list as i do ?

Yet Calzaghe got in....not sure how....
Calzaghe biggest win is against a young Kessler, overrated and undersized Lacy, badly faded Jones, and over the hill Hopkins and still was almost knocked out in the first round by Jones and Hopkins. I would put some of these guys in over Calzaghe.Comment

--------------------------------------------------------Ricky Hatton definately deserves to be in there. While I understand the writer trying to hold a very high standard but Hatton deserves it. He dominated a Hall of Famer in Kostya Tszyu and he has a lot of over very good fighters like Jose Luis Castillo, Paulie Mallinaggi, Luis Collazo.
You must be British to be championing Hatton. Let's dissect your points using FACTS and LOGIC:
JL Castillo: Castillo was a shadow of his old self. He was long gone as a competitive boxer reduced to fighting journey men. The Hatton fight was a joke and was just to collect a paycheck. The guy did not want to engage yet his whole career was based on relentless attacking.
2) Collazo: The only people that believe Hatton beat Collazo are guys like you and guys from Manchester. Hatton lost that fight no matter how you slice it.
3)Tszyu: We could give Hatton credit for mauling and holding Tszyu to submission. That same style was nullified by Mayweather whom Hatton refused to fight in 2005 when Floyd moved up to 140Ibs. Hatton and his team said they weren't ready to fight a guy coming up from 135Ibs. This is a fact that even Hatton acknowledged in 2007.
4). Malignaggi: That's your claim to hall of fame status? Really?
How many other Hall of Fame fighters has Hatton beaten? Answer that simple question.
Hatton was a terrible boxer. Against a pure boxer he was always going to get beat. That's why he ducked Junior Witter.Comment

I am not British. I am not here to fight battles from the past. Controversial wins still count as wins.--------------------------------------------------------

joke calslappy lost to Bernard Hopkins....."they" didn't want to give it to B-Hop.....listen to max in that fight where he says who would you want to be in that fight but jim & harold try to play B-Hop out.....max preferred to be Hopkins cuz he was making joke miss, countered back, landed the clean punches & made joke look like an Amateur by missing & slapping punches, hence the name joke calslappy.Comment

I would count Roy Jones Jr as a massive miss.
But how many of those guys he beat do you really say "Wow" to.He beat everyone for a good number of years.
Jones was the best fighter at 175.No. DM was the man who beat the man etc. Jones was a trinket collector.
Not if you're suggesting that Jones should have gone to Germany to fight DM. Jones had the better resume and was the bigger star.Irrelevant.
I don't want DM to do anything. If he didn't want to travel that's on him. I just think it reflects poorly on him because I find his resume insufficient for the Hall of Fame.Oh so you want DM to travel even though he was the champion?
Never said robberies don't happen outside of Germany. Robberies happen all the time in America but it isn't always the American fighter that benefits from it. For instance, Canelo (a Mexican) got much closer scores against FMjr (an American) than he should have and I think one judge actually gave it to him. Many people think that Daniel Jacobs (an American) got robbed against GGG (Kazakstan). Even more people think that GGG beat the Canelo and got robbed himself. So while there are robberies and controversies in the US the reasoning behind it has more to do with who is the star than where they come from. If DM did what GGG did he might have gotten the benefit of the doubt against RJJ.How about taking into account how Schulz was shafted against Foreman and Sturm against DLH. You give Jones a pass, but DM gets critisism. Talk about double standards.
It is. But its not a big point considering Ward's resume. I mean, the only real international fighters he could have fought were Lucien Bute and Adonis Stevenson. Bute was beaten by someone Ward beat and Stevenson ducked ever real challenge in his division ever since he became champion.Oh but Ward didn't travel which is the point and you have to remember that whenever Ward's name is on the ballot.Last edited by yankees7448; 10-10-2017, 10:50 AM.Comment

Another thing to consider is that DM and RJJ fought many of the same opponents.
Virgil Hill- DM won a wide decision. Jones stopped him in 4 in Hill's next fight.
Derrick Harmon-DM stopped him in 9 rounds 2 years after RJJ stopped him in 10.
Richard Hall- DM stopped him 2x in consecutive fights in the 11th and then 10th Rounds. RJJ stopped him in the 11th round a year and a half earlier.
Montell Griffin-DM stopped him in 10 2 years after RJJ destroyed him in won.
Julio Cesar Gonzalez-beat DM by split decision in DM's second to last fight. RJJ dominated Gonzalez by appallingly wide scores a little over 2 years prior.
Why would Roy need to travel to fight someone whose best wins AND one of two losses came to guys that in most cases RJJ beat in a more spectular fashion as much as 2 years prior? DM was the king of the division in name only much in the same way that Stevenson has been the king of the light heavweight division for the past couple years despite fighting the weakest possible opposition.Last edited by yankees7448; 10-10-2017, 11:03 AM.Comment

Lol I knew this would be yet more rubbish from Fitz, this is literally all he does. Tries to get clicks by creating controversy where there shouldn't be any. IN the process, he makes himself look like an idiot. In what world does Sung Ki make it in but Eubank, Benn, Hatton, Vitali and a few others do not?
The common sense and boxing orientated votes would be:
Chris Eubank, Vitali Klitschko, Erik Morales, Ricky Hatton and the fifth vote is a tight one between Winky/Vazquez/Benn.Comment
