But as far as here, & now, Steve Albert is the best play by play commentator in all of boxing.

Hell, i guess I'm the only one that's a fan of Lampley here.. When you guy's say he's biased, what are you talking about specifically? Biased to who or what?

No, you are not. I like Lampley. I think he is a good play by play announcer in a time that play by play is a dying art of fake enthusiasm and rehearsed cliches. Joe Tessatore on ESPN is a treasure (I really am tired of Atlas, ugh. ) but Lampley is smooth, articulate, and shows true emotions during a fight.

And that is what I think most people see as bias. He does go over the top on one issue in a fight and does not let it go. But I truly think it is a reaction to the moment, not a predetermined bias before a fight.

I really enjoy his commentary, he is not boring, good voice, experienced than all of us here, seen some ten thousands of fights, talks smart and fun.
And that's true, he is ofc being asked to promote the HBO stars here and there, so sometimes we have to suffer his brainwashing .

Maybe thats bcz Rocky contributed so much to the sport. Drew so many ppl into boxing.

Bias c*cksucker is the worst broadcaster in the sport.

Ya Lampley and Lederman are only inches better than Larry Merchant who was just awful. He would've LOVED golovkin though, just like Lederman.
