My first and last post here is a public service announcement, and one that is sadly required for adults across all platforms of social media:

Bias is a noun. A person may have bias. A person may not be bias.

Knowing and remembering this will lend credibility to all brands of internet discourse - threats, baseless conspiracy theories, and garden-variety insults.

Great. Maybe now that he's secure in his contract, he won't keep selling out and shilling out of fear, like during Kovalev-Ward II after Virgil Hunter threatened he should be fired because he didn't "stay in his lane" and let Andre Ward mega-fans RJJ and Max Kellerman create a fake narrative of the fight without him butting in with his inconvenient reminders of reality.

Glad Lampley is still going to be around for years to come, and that means HBO boxing (contrary to the nay-sayers) and The Fight Game will as well.

The bias talk is funny. I am sure you lot like him when he's on your fighter's side, but when it's the opposite you can stand him. I can hardly understand the disdain at all for Lampley. He's a fan of the sport as much as any of us are, so expecting him or anyone to be completely neutral during a fight is nonsense.

When he calls fights these days he tries to force a narrative instead of just calling the action, and usually the narrative he is pushing is done to favor whoever HBO is trying to turn into a star.

This leads to him celebrating punches for one guy while completely ignoring the good work being done by the other guy.

Also he spends a lot of time on The Fight Game bashing boxers and shows from rival networks while telling us how great HBO's boxers and upcoming cards are. He has lost any semblance of objectivity that he once might have had.

Like when he says things like "he lands a jab, & another one!" but they are NOT landing. Watch Hopkins vs Taylor 1 or lil g vs Nelo how he was saying lil g did enough to win the round while max was sayin he didn't do enough....., he has done it for ever. larry, jim & harold all suck.
