Andre Ward would go down into the annuls of history as a great great champion. The likes of which we will never see again.

ward never gave the fans and exciting night, not one (low blows and headbutts don't count) and that's crucial to the way people remember you in boxing. more limited fighters like gatti and ward are way more brought up into boxing conversations than andre is (one even got a movie awarding an oscar to christian bale).Well at least he kicked Sergei Kovalev's ass. Not once but twice and the second time he made him quit. That's was more than enough excitement and entertainment for me.

the crybabys who dislike Ward..... are heartbroken because he spanked their guy
because, if they really just disliked his style, they simply would not watch/mention him
oh..... and the G-tard crybaby's hate Ward because he punked Golovkin by lifting up his skirt so that the world could see his frilly knickers LOLComment

Not top secret info, friend. Low blows, head butts, all that type thing.Comment

It's the duty of the trainer to believe in his athlete; it's not prediction. Initially, if a trainer isn't training to get a win, he's a bad trainer.
“Every day,” Ward said. “There’s a math equation very few people have solved. Having your legacy, finances, and faculties intact. How many people walk away with all three? I think about that all the time. I gotta figure that out.”
Humm! I undestand Ward logical answer to this equation. To keep his faculties intact and his legacy, Andre Ward figured it out, he retired. I mean, he ducked the threat: "Adonis Stevenson".
I guess this time, Virgil Hunter had one prediction right; predicting Ward to lose the Undisputed battle against Stevenson.
This liar may put his foot in his mouth as much as he wish, by saying stuff like: "Ward is not cut from the same cloth". Facts will remain facts. Consequently, that's how Andre Ward will be remembered:
The #1 P4P fighter who decided to duck a 40 years old boxer by retiring instead of being crowned Undisputed.
Virgil Hunter is panicking, all these sudden talks! The guy's close to be exposed. I mean, he's about to lose all his boxers. Khan 1st, Berto 2nd, maybe Fonfara 3rd; I mean, aren't they part of Haymon's house.
*Hey! Just talk to your old man, he needs to shut up...Last edited by TheThirdEye; 10-09-2017, 02:04 AM.Comment

but according to what I was quoting, they're "all time greats' for their ability to make the crowd cheer. Gatti was an overhyped club fighter. Very exciting, but against the top fighters, he got his azz whipped. Plus he was saved from a ko against Patterson the 2nd time.Comment

He was an above average fighter. Not an ATG by any means. Beat Froch and arguably lost to Kovalev in fight 1. That doesn't make some ATG career. Too much inactivity and lackluster fights.
Critics may remember him as great but fans won't remember him at all and won't ever be going back to watch any of his fights. Unless they're in need of some good sleep perhaps.Comment
