Let's be 100% honest: Lomachenko will get ZERO credit for beating Rigondeaux

Besides that one fight all of his fights have been at 122.

This is his first fight at 130 and it's against Lomachenko.

Loma will recieve 0 credit for this win.

I blame Santa Cruz and Frampton for this situation. Rigo is so desperate for a big fight he's going up two weight classes to get it.

I'll be rooting for him but it doesn't look good.
From the usual suspects, your right he won't get credit. They see Boxing how they want to see it. They called for this fight and now it's happening are unhappy it is.

However, it's funny people like you are the ones that barely a month/six weeks ago were claiming Loma was ducking this match and the weight wouldn't matter because Loma can't live with him anyway and now 2 months before the week he already gets "0 credit". At least this time your doing it before the fight rather than like the Walters fight when you picked Walters to win and were convinced and had to start making your excuses 2-3 rounds in.

Rigo said "no excuses". I believe him. No excuses. He's more qualified to make the call.

As a Boxing fan I think this is a pretty easy fight as it was when Rigo rejected it at 126 (he admitted so) because I don't think Rigo is what he's cracked up to be by the race warriors and I will be vindicated on 12/9 because you all said Rigo would dominate and was amazing and Loma wouldn't win a round. I don't take this pre-fight excuses seriously. I will refer back to what was said before September.

Rigo had a chance to make this fight long ago. No excuses when he loses.

Why wouldn't he get credit? If he's lucky enough to win, then all props to him.

I like the optimism and the lack of built in excuses.

But keep it that way. No excuses December 9th especially when your pick is so bold.

            The following -

            It doesn't fit the narrative
            He's white
He's linked to the evil GGG in many eyes here
Rigo won't be unbeaten anymore which means he was garbage anyway

Do boxers even get any credit nowadays?

Only certain one's if it fits the narrative. Most fights have about 5-6 pre-written excuses before them and also filled out scorecards by fanboys/agenda driven cretins.

This one is a nightmare for them because a month ago the guy that's suddenly going to win this fight was running scared, had no chance of beating Rigo but when reality sets in and the fight is made it created mass back peddling and a unique situation where the excuses came out 10 weeks before the first bell.

He wont, and I personally don't see much problem in it. Rigo is 10 years older, in the very twilight of his career, and is significantly smaller. If he wins, it's going to be a large upset.

more importantly, he'll give up a lot of weight in the ring on figh tnight. i'm guessing about 10 lbs, or close to 10% of his body weight. huge advantage in a boxing match when somebody isn't outright better than the other. can be insurmountable when the skill level is the same.

i don't expect most of you to understand that, but that's the reality. i've shaken hands with and sat with bantamweights at a dinner table. they're literally smaller than your girlfriend.

imagine if your girl put on 10 lbs of muscle . you'd even notice it on anthony joshua, and you'll for sure notice it when the guys are 120-130 lbs.
i've already said pretty much exactly this...OP is just narrow minded and only wants to believe what he thinks ..extremely childish and absolutely wrong on his part but hey welcome to boxingscene...where everything's made up and facts don't matter!
