Let's be 100% honest: Lomachenko will get ZERO credit for beating Rigondeaux

Why is everyone hating on Lomachenko? He's the best since Ali!

Put some respeck on his name already. Bob is totally right. Can't argue at all.

After a few more wins I might have to put him in the GOAT conversation.

Here is what you do, put up a poll on who wins and then take notes of who votes and if Lom wins, anyone who picked Rigo will be scorned if they make excuses about size. I am going with a majority decision or a draw because I think these two guys are absolutely special and are going to take away each other's best weapons and make scoring the fight very difficult.

Or Lom wins a decision or stops him or a draw to add to those two. All of those scenarios is possible.

Pacquiao was a dynamo with great athleticism, but I am thinking of a more classic boxing ability, hit and not be hit perspective.

He won't he's the new goat that's how it works. But In all honesty this isn't even his hardest fight Walters and Russell jr posed a bigger challange, rigo is too small.

Manny Pacquiao moved up from flyweight to face bantamweights, featherweights, lightweights and welterweights. He is MUCH shorter than many of his opponents like Mayweather and Horn.

Rigo moving up one division is nothing (super bantam to super feather is the same as moving up one of the original 8 divisions).

Henry Armstrong held titles in three different original weight divisions at the same time!

It takes a bit of the luster off of the bout but they are so damn skilled it will be a sublime fight taken place at the highest of levels.

                  Stop making excuses.
So you had to go back 40 years to give Lomachenko more credit if he wins? At these weight classes an 8 Pound difference is huge and can make a world of difference in the fight. Rigo is old, inactive, hasn't had a great performance in 2+ years snd he's jumping up 2 weight classes to fight a naturally much bigger, much younger, much more active p4p fighter in Lomachenko.

No logical human being is expecting Rigo to win but it should be a fun fight. But Lomachenko won't get too much credit from me for that one. If it was 124 or even 126 though it would've veen a totally different story. A guy as small and old as Rigo should never fight at 130 lbs.

Respect to Pacquiao but he refused to be tested at the height of his career. Henry Armstrong is legit but I didn't find too much footage of him fighting.

They may not give him credit but they should. Rigo is a great fighter. Loma could easily make 126 and he fought comfortably there not long ago. The fighting weight of these two great fighters isn't that far apart.
