i personally think now, that he may be a little hype monster. i don't see this excitement that the brits claim he brings to the table, i've seen about 10 of his fights, and he looked good in one, against the human punching bag ben tackie.

he held and punched off the clinch against tzuyu and forcefully wrestled the title from him, got away with that. questionable, but got the W. he wasn't smart enough to take out the talent-less maussa withought getting into a dog fight, a fighter in which couldn't win a round against cotto and was WAY out of his league against him and lastly this, the collazo fight.

while it was ****** of collazo not knowing whats at risk in this fight, this has more to do with what collazo and the ref didn't do more than with what hatton did.

the jury's full on OUT on hatton after that dismal display - hattons no world beater, but i'd like to see this "skill" that people speak of.

How is Floyd overrated?

people with no knowledge of the history of the sport are already putting him on all time lists and claiming that he will retire undefeated, thats over rated by a long shot. floyd seeks out easy money fights lately, he hasnt taken a real fight in a long time. i certainly dont count judah as a real threat.
some people on here think that floyd will be able to go up to middleweight and be successful, thats rediculous.

Floyd has not shown me anything special at 147, that's for sure. Check him out at 130 vs G. Hernandez, and then watch him vs Sharmba Mitchell and Judah. Floyd is overrated by some, but still he deserves his number one spot in my eyes.

Hatton-Floyd, due to styles and weight issues, is a pickem fight so far as I'm concerned.

Whoever wins the Winky-Taylor fight will move up to number one on my list though. That's a given.

I would like to see Hatton fight Gatti. That should be a good fight. After his last performance. I dont think he has a chance in hell of beating Floyd.

fair enough, i dont think either of the guys in question are over rated personally. i think they are both really good fightters, i preffer to watch hatton but floyds skill is astonishing. i dont know why there are so many anti hatton and so many "floyd is the greatest eva playa" threads on here. people should give it a rest.
