I actually do think Hatton's overrated... luckily for Hatton so is Floyd.

But like I say, call him dirty all you want... just don't make out it's because he's from England when you've got Hopkins and Holyfield playing head games too.

ive always maintained that hatttaon would beat floyd before he fought collazo and just cause he had a **** day at the office my oppinion hasnt changed one bit.
at the end of the day hes human and entitled to have a little slip , lets face it collazo wasnt hes priority he was caught up in the big fight with mayweather syndrome and overlooking collazo ,
floyd dominates fighters cause they stand of him and get picked of at will you really think hatton is gonna stand of him for 12 rounds , im saying 12 rounds cause floyd aint gonna knock him out

Nobody seems to discuss the southpaw issue... Hatton clearly has a MAJOR problem with southpaws, and is growing into the weight.

I thought it was a business decision, they'd both agreed to build up their names? There are so many conflicting stories that no one can say for sure what happened or didn't happen with negotiations.

As for Mayweather being overrated, then mark my words, as soon as he steps up against an elite fighter in his division (and not B/C level competition like Gatti, Judah, Mitchell...) he'll take his first loss. Whether Hatton IS elite or just as overrated as Floyd remains to be seen...

hatton is the most hated boxer on these forums and why exactly is that? three fights, three new titles in a row, fighter of the year, moved up in weight to take his most recent title, now he is going to fight his mandatory, he has class and sportsmanship rather than pretending to be some kind of thuged out peice of **** or acting like a professional wrestler with his gimmicks and foolish behaviour.. the only reasons why i can see people not liking hatton are, he is white and he is english. clear out the cobwebs and admit that he is hated because of bigotry and nothing else.

Ricky Hatton is just a glorified slugger with a good chin. Against any top superior boxer he will get outclassed. I dont think people hate him cuz he's from England. People just seem to think he is king **** because of his win over Tsyzu. He is so overrated by the media that it is ridiculous.
