hatton is the most hated boxer on these forums and why exactly is that? three fights, three new titles in a row, fighter of the year, moved up in weight to take his most recent title, now he is going to fight his mandatory, he has class and sportsmanship rather than pretending to be some kind of thuged out peice of **** or acting like a professional wrestler with his gimmicks and foolish behaviour.. the only reasons why i can see people not liking hatton are, he is white and he is english. clear out the cobwebs and admit that he is hated because of bigotry and nothing else.

Hatton's not going to give up his belt or pay step-aside money to Urkal unless it's for big money, and I don't blame him for not jumping back in with Collazo until he feels comfortable at the weight.

I'd prefer to see him in with Corrales too but I've not heard any noise coming from DC's camp about the fight, so why try to pin it all on Hatton?

Urkal was one-punch KOd by Vivian Harris in Germany. That was Harris' biggest win. I'd like to see if Hatton can duplicate that. Floyd is clearly intent on fighting De La Hoya, so it is meaningless right now to say Hatton is avoiding him. I'm sure they will fight at some point. Hatton strikes me as honest when he says he wants the best. Floyd on the other hand is admittedly about the money. That said, if he fights DLH, I won't care.

HMm alot of people will agree with me, hatton's style is annoying and hes overrated,

You guys love to throw out Hattons name and make fun of Floyd's opponents but you guys know for a fact that Hatton has turned Mayweather down a bunch of times.

Then you try to say how he jumped to 147 and took on a tough guy like Callazo but Hatton had a life & death struggle with him. Then he doesnt want to give Callazo a rematch and says he will wait to fight the winner of Chico & Castillo.

Now he says he wont wait because Castillo maybe in trouble but what about Chico? That fights still out there and you know with Chico, its easy to make a fight and he will fight Hatton anywhere. What about waiting for after the Cotto fight? If Castillo is in trouble then Cotto would probally fight Hatton.

Why not wait for the Gatti fight? He could fight the winner of that. Most of all, why not give Callazo a rematch? You talk about Floyd fighting small guys at 147 and now Hatton nearly gets beat and he picks a guy who is basically a 140 pounder.

Hatton looks to seeking the weakest of fighters out there...he will drop corrales and maybe even castillo..pretty boy would kill him as well as collazo in a rematch..no doubt he is a bulldog in the ring but he has to step it up..he said he had about five fight left in him and he goes and picks urkal...come on dude...corrales, castillo, pretty boy, collazo, cotto, and many more are out there for him to face..

I actually do think Hatton's overrated... luckily for Hatton so is Floyd.

But like I say, call him dirty all you want... just don't make out it's because he's from England when you've got Hopkins and Holyfield playing head games too.
