Most UK journalists had it a draw/possible robbery for Collazo.

It was US journalists (and judges!!) that had it as a legitimate win for Hatton. So I'd say no, no "nuff said". Just your narrow-minded bigotry.

Come on man. The WBA said before the Hatton / Collazo fight that the winner had to defend against Urkal within 120 days or lose the belt.

Collazo does deserve a rematch though.

When you said race I take it that you meant my last comment about England but all I meant was that I dont see that fight selling in the US and its kind of dumb to even have that fight over here when both of them have fought over there so many times.

It is ****** for Hatton to say he wants to be a US fighter and then fights a guy who has alot of fights the same place Hatton does. If you come to the US then fight US fighters or atleast guys from somwhere other then where your from

Don't misunderstand, you HAVE got a point, and it is a backwards step for Hatton, I don't dispute that.

What I DO take exception to is that whenever Hatton is criticised on this board we have to wade through parochial bigotry about where he comes from.

If people slag off Tarver/Hopkins/Barrera/Pacquaio et al there's no mention of their country of origin. Why is this? Slate Hatton all you want, but just drop the UK bashing, please.

Hatton v.s. Urkal is going to ****ing suck.

It has the potential to be a serious clinchfest or other.

Yeah but how many times do Sactioning Bodies say that? It means nothing. Fighters dont hardly ever fight there mandartories once they get really big unless its a great mandatory. Case & point, he was going to face Castillo if he won, wasnt he? So really thats not a good excuse

It might be a chance to let Hatton showcase some of his recently neglected Boxing Skills though.

LOL, its hilarious that people say Hatton sucks because he put on 7 lbs in 6 weeks to fight a champion, and still won!

when you say boxing, do you mean a new, un-earthed method of clinching?

That fight has the makings of a boring affair.

Hatton v.s. Collazo wasn't exactly fireworks, and I'd like to have the time spent watching it...back. Oh yeah, and he's going up against probably the most boring man in the 147lb division in Urkal. I just don't want to sit through a fight where Hatton rushes really fast like a small robot and clinches on to Urkal for about ten seconds with about two or three punches thrown off the clinch. Then when separated.....he rushes back and clinches again and repeats the process the entire fight.

The highly aggressive John Ruiz of the Welterweights.
