You Can't Be P4P #1 With Zero Elite Wins...

...which is why Golovkin will have to wait til May for a crack at it.

At least Loma is fighting Rigo in December, so a W there makes him legit.

Right now, Bud is top dawg.

Mikey, Errol, Thurman, and AJ round out my top 5.

What are we gonna do, leave #1 rank vacant till the best active fighter meets your criteria? lol.

GGG is now the #1 fighter of the world.

If Golovkin doesn't have an elite win than what elite win does Crawford have?

The DON is thinking you be having different standards for your favorite fighters.

Which elite fighter has Crawford beaten?

Postol is about C level and beat nobody but a shot Matthysse. Prime Matthysse couldn't even beat a shot Judah lol, even if you wanna say it was a dodgy decision, what decent fighter has a close fight with a shot Judah? come on. Postol was a very weak champion when Crawford beat him. Don't say Gamboa either, the guy is a midget.

Crawford is a very talented fighter but his resume is still very weak. He either weight bullied fighters, or fought some weak guys. 140 has been weak in recent years.

I have to agree. People suddenly forget how they pulled this bullshyt on Ward. I suspect that the "usual suspects" who refused to give Ward #1 and decided to put P4P on hold (or completely dismiss it) in their minds will be quick to award it to Golovkin and celebrate the P4P concept.
          That's ok though.
Ward was #1 since Nov, and Gennady is #1 now. It may have not come under ideal circumstances for either guy but fair is fair.

Golovkin could not even win his last two fights, impose his will. How could he be number 1? Crawford is lineal at 135 and undisputed at 140, moving up to 147. And most importantly, he always dominated in his fights, got better and better, and look invincible right now.

GGG or Terence Crawford...Take your pick. I don't think it will be unanimous across all media outlets until more fights happen to make the top dog more clear cut.

I don't understand the people that are claiming that it'a hard pick between Crawford and GGG. To me it's clearly Terence Crawford right now, beat undefeated champions in their prime across 2 weight classes and looked much more complete than GGG, whose weaknesses against other top fighters were out there for the world to see, Crawford fought all the top guys in all the divisions he fought at and won easily, no controversial decisions, nobody won more than 3 rounds against him, and like I said he fought undefeated prime champions to become the UNDISPUTED 140 lbs champion, GGG already lost to Jacobs and barely beat a light middleweight in Canelo who imo lost his 2 biggest fights against Mayweather and Lara.

You're apparently the type of guy I was referring to. It's ok, you can't can spin it however you like to make yourselves feel better. I'm ok putting GG as #1 and don't need to snub him.
