Let's all admit, no one will miss Ward, but some will say otherwise because of his skin colour. Deep down, no one in his right mind enjoys a Ward fight.

I saw him win the first one & the second one just proved it.

                Kovalev is right. Tournament time!

                Kovalev vs Barrera
                Bivol vs Jack
                Stevenson vs Joe Smith
                Beterbiev vs Gvozdyk

Winners and losers fight. This could be the first division in a long time (I guess since 160, but they all ducked GGG for so long), where all 8 of the top guys also happen to be big punchers with offensive styles. Can you imagine they action the sport could get from this division if the best guys actually fight each other immediately, before anyone gets any older?

That's always the rub, though, isn't it? But man, it could be good. Maybe boxing won't **** this one up, too.... (Yeah right)

Wasn't Kov just calling for a third fight? Now he "don't think about him at all?" And how is it good for the division? Did Kov fight Stevenson? NO! How about Beterbiev? NO! Who gave him 2 fights, and his only 2 PPV fights? Why isn't he fighting his own stablemate, Barerra? Why is he fighting the guy (Shabranskyy) Barerra knocked down 3 times, and KO'd in the 7th? Is that good for the division?

Let's be honest. In 20 years when all the fan boys have moved on or grown up. People will say Kovalev probably won the first fight and certainly didn't lose the 2nd fight. This will not do much for Ward's legacy. If he had a third fight and won it convincingly - that would do a lot for him.

So.. it's telling he is cutting and running now. Clearly doesn't think he can win a third fight

gonna have to agree with kov here.

ward had no intentions to unify with stevenson. so what's the point of havin all those belts? ward said his heart is not in it anymore. if thats true he did the right thing. goes down in the HOF easy.
