GGG was the champ and still is, he wants the rematch and Canelita people are already budging.

Face it, Canelo is thinking he's the new Mayweather, unfortunately his fan base is not interested in his "new" Mexican fighting style.

I really just thought Canelo didn't have enough in the gas tank to trade or even throw more.. so he reserved to pot shots and let Byrd bail him out.
Here we go again with GGG fan club member's crying, b!+ching, excuses and not to mention exaggerations!

GGG only fought 1 champion that he earned his belt from!

The rest was from vacant titles so between him and Canelo who do you think has the more challenging career? Hmm..

GGG Mr."I'm no businessman" but chose Canelo for the money instead of BJS for ALL THE BELTS! LMAO

Mr."I'm willing to fight anyone from 154-168". Mr."Chavez Jr and Froch is good but Ward is too much for me".
Mr."I don't like talkers" but has the most talkative trainer in boxing!

Just curious if fighter B displays better defense(which is yes takes energy and effort to do), as well as have more harder and accurate landed punches while doing what he wants in the ring.

Does fighter A have to just land ineffective punches, take more punches, throw more punches and come forward just to get a win??

GGG is a champ in a dead division and had to man up and get K2 to pay Jacobs and wait out Canelo to finally liven up 160!

What's with all the Canelo don't want rematch? First y'all GGG fans said Canelo would never fight GGG then said if they fight GGG WILL KO Canelo due to his terrible footwork, poor stamina, and that his chin can't take it!

Now that all has been proven wrong and Canelo outboxed and landed the harder punches on the bigger man, you want to reference the many folks in the arena who likely has money on GGG KO win and or don't know nothing about boxing but think seeing two people go toe to toe bash their brains in with no techniques just throw punches is boxing! SMH

Your a causal, get outta here boxing is not for you!

I'm still trying to figure out how before the fight they said "We have NO chance of winning by decision" "GGG needs to knock him out"

Then when it goes to actual decision??? They claim robbbery???

I'm F'n confused??? Next time DO what you said you had to do. AND STFU!

Honestly I had GGG winning by 1 round.

But end of day it was a CLOSE fight and hard to score. If you forget about defense and missing 500 punches then GGG won...

Most had Canelo winning the first 1-3 (And a lot 4)

      GGG 5-8

      9 close

      10-12 Canelo.

Canelo started strong. Faided in the middle rounds, and then came on strong in the late rounds.

But Canelo said he would ko GGG, he was born fearless & he was a true Mexican fighter?

Once again your comment makes no sense. Canelo ran like a Cuban in the biggest fight of his career... once again, his own fans booed him.

He didn't run, he spent a good majority of his time on the ropes. If you weren't such a casual you would know he was catching his breath. Canelo is heavy and strong and was not throwing anything but power shots. He actually bombed on GGG quite often. Problem is he can't sustain it so his solution is to move around until he recovers his stamina.

GGG has bad stamina too but he chose a different solution. Instead of throwing the volley of hooks he usually does he chose to save his energy by throwing touch jabs damn near the whole fight. He threw so many non committal jabs so he wasn't wasting energy throwing at Canelo who slipped and ducked away from hooks when GGG would throw them.

It was plain as day when Canelo wasn't tired he would trade and by far got the better of GGG but he would gas soon after and back peddle and once he got his wind he would push GGG back.

The entire fight played out like this it was as even as you can get. I had GGG by two rounds because there were a couple Canelo looked like he needed an oxygen tank and could barely breath, he didn't do much those two. Other than that it was even.

7-5 Canelo or 8-4, less is more in this one!

Landed more of the harder punches head an body even though he threw less thats called economical effectiveness through sheer accuracy!

            Quality over quantity!
            Rematch will be very interesting!

GGG also said he would ko Cinnamon. Yet when he had him on the ropes he didn’t throw anything with real commitment. He was very tentative and decided to not throw any body-shots cuz he was worried about the counters coming back at him. He tried to keep the fight at mid range. That’s not Mexican style either.

I think enough is enough. While I think GGG won, I'm starting to feel sorry for Canelo. Booed by his own fans and now this. It was a good fight by both and a rematch is needed. Time to move on.

the goofy fake-mexican was timid, and fired blanks all night

love to hear Sanchez give us a real Mexican breakdown on that tactic

you want to check someone for talking shht for YEARS.....

                      but mentioned Canelo ?

                      what about all that " 154-168 " bullshht ?

what about all that " nobody at 160 can last with Golovkin " ?

the line they used was not..... nobody at 160 can last with Golovkin, IF they make it easy for him

we thought that Golovkin was elite ?
I'm not talking about ggg saying nobody can last with him. Yeah he said that and now had 2 fighters go the distance. But at the very least he was looking for the ko. Canelo is the one getting backlash by his own people, not ggg, because he said he was looking for the ko but clearly had every intention of going 12. Just like he always does vs anyone who is above b level. If you don't consider ggg elite then what is Canelo because most had him losing that fight clearly.
