Yeah he was knocking them out. But when your fighting C level opponents that’s what your supposed to did. Rosado moved up in weight to fight him and he didn’t knock him out. Again it’s not GGG fault that the division was so week. Also HBO makes their fighters out to be some monsters when they’re not. And the casuals eat it up. Just like Loma.

Canelo is the one getting backlash by his own people, not ggg, because he said he was looking for the ko but clearly had every intention of going 12. Just like he always does vs anyone who is above b level. If you don't consider ggg elite then what is Canelo because most had him losing that fight clearly.

Yep. Great footwork and great defense will beat a fighter who only knows to chase you around the ring. Canelo has both. I think we may also agree the rematch may be even better than the first fight. Abel has done this for ages. You can look back on 80s fights and he's trainer. I guess I'm surprised he's weak on it because of the image the GGG team has been portrayed as being. Maybe they can figure this one out, but I have doubts.

you really see things differently. Canelo did not make that comment once 5 min before the fight. He said it repeatedly throughout the entire promotion of the fight. And if you think Canelo came out of this situation with more shine then you're crazy. He was being booed by his own fans immediately following the fight. Just about everyone at press row had Canelo losing and nearly every boxer who weighed in on the topic either by social media or interviews claimed ggg got jerked. Except for Oscar and Hopkins of course. And nobody is criticizing him for not knocking out ggg. He's being critisized for not even trying to go forward at any point in the fight after saying he would. And also he's taking the heat for getting his customary ridiculous scorecard which happens in every single big canelo fight.
