It's getting annoying how all these so called boxing fans are upset that Canelo didn't stand and trade with GGG for 3 mins of all 12 rounds which would be beyond ******!

These the same fans that if Canelo would've did that and got KO'd they still would've *****ted on him and made memes or if he KO'd GGG they would've said he's on something or GGG took a dive!

Canelo lost the fight as all in boxing realize except for the mexicans but that is understandable. Canelo's back was on the ropes the whole fight as GGG was the aggressor coming forward throwing punches as Canelo backed up and fought in spurts. Boxing has been fixed for 100 years and is mob controlled along with greedy seedy promoters. Boxing is not a sport but a fricking business.

Canelo's stamina and punch output issues is why I have stated many times he needs a new trainer. Yet every time I brought it up in a thread I was ridiculed. This fight showed Canelo needs new guidance. None of Canelo's deficiencies as a fighter have ever been addressed by his trainers. His stamina issues have not been addressed, his low punch output has never been addressed by his trainers, his bad habit of laying on the ropes for too much have never been corrected. His trainers have not taught him how to fight in the center of the ring for the length of a fight. They have not taught Canelo that he can rest by holding, or tying up his opponent instead of needing the ropes to rest. Under his current trainers he has not gotten rid of any of his bad habits. His stamina issues have existed for yrs and his trainers have not done anything to change this. Hell, if you listen to his trainers in between rds on each of his fights they say verbatim the same thing over and over in each fight no matter how different his opponents are from each other.

During his camp for the GGG fight his trainers should of drew a circle in the ring had had him fight within that circle without needing to go to the ropes. This way they could of taught him how to hold or tie up GGG and rest when doing so, but I highly doubt they did that or are capable of teaching Canelo these tactics. BTW telling him to stay off the ropes during the fight (in between rds) is not the same as teaching him to stay off the ropes, drilling it into him, during training camp. Also, his stamina issues can also be partly blamed on him fighting only twice a year.

I agree. Usually this kind of excuse is not taken seriously. It is usually laughed at for the reasons you wrote. But because it is Canelo, who boxed and used movement to make GGG miss, a double standard is put in effect.

Canelo is a good fighter... he didn't win...but u need to knock him out to get a clear win....plain and simple canelo didn't do enough to beat the middleweight champion of the world....canelo was tired and he needed to throw more punches....

You also said no one 154-168 could last 12 rounds with GGG. Not only has the last 2 fighters lasted 12 rounds, but when Ward came calling at 168, you demanded a 164 catchweight when you were more than willing to go full 168 for ChavezJr.

If Sanchez could goad Canelo to standing and trading more in the rematch, it helps Golovkin as he arguably has the power/chin advantage. Only reason he's saying it. Just doing his job.

You're as much an idiot as Sanchez. If they are going to whine that fighters don't stay planted and just trade with GGG then he can have him fight in the Big Knock Out Boxing where the ring is basically a phone booth with two guys in the middle throwing hay-makers.

Stop complaining about Canelo moving around to take GGG power away. This isn't a movie, elite fighters don't stand in front of each other and trade shots. Micky Ward and Gatti did that and you saw what happened to them when they stepped up to face elite competition...did not go well for them.

Its GGG job to do what he can to stop Canelo, it's not Canelo's job to stand there and let him throw bombs on him.
