After a period of well-deserved rest and after we set the date to meet [with Golden Boy], we will discuss what is convenient for Saul's career," Chepo said.
the title says exactly that. "not sure if the rematch happens in may" which is exactly what chepo said. nowhere in the title did it says the rematch is not happening.

You admitted after the fight you had it a draw. Now canelo won? Yeah ok. You know he lost along with 90% of the boxing world. It's gotta be tough to see your favorite fighter consistently need favorable judging to help him out. Ah well

In other words, Ward vs Kovalev part 1 don't have relevance in Canelo vs GGG part 1. Canelo vs GGG part 2 will play differently compared to Ward vs Kovalev part 2, don't matter how people search a sense or a justification.
I agree with you. It's not the same. You can find similarities in a lot of things if you try hard enough. But it's two completely different situations

Canelo won 7-5. Schooled GGG by neutralizing his Right hand weapon

Team Canelo is talking about fighting in May. Golovkin's team has talked of him fighting again in December. There is no guarantee that Golovkin wins that fight since he's been steadily declining.

Better boxer usually always wins the rematch... And if he misses almost 500 punches the 1st time??? How many can we count this time???
Please, Candelita couldn't faze GGG at all. He got winded, stalked, and pummeled with power shots and GGG didn't even work the body. GGG will be the one with more facets to his game in the rematch because he IS the better boxer and he forced the diva into survival mode after 3 or 4 rounds. Make the rematch, Candelita's is getting worked over even worse this time....that body will take a beating.

Yet 85-90% of viewers think that he did more than enough to beat a top 5 P4P boxer, 8 years his junior?

I Watched it again, and canelo schooled golovkin son. Had him missing and paying all night, canelo landed the harder more telling blows. Watch it again and tell me your score round by round.

It's a really tough fight for Canelo
He won't gain any fans postponing the fight
Just adds to the reputation that Canelo is waiting Golovkin to age further

Weekend showed that he wasn't quite as expired as first thought

Canelo tryna be Mayweather with his Mexican dates fighting twice a year lol

Being real though, he's a tough dude
But just struggles with Golovkins style, and if he took an immediate rematch
I would favour Golovkin by UD
Dude just couldn't keep Golovkin away. And Golovkin fought timid first couple of rounds, he will pick it up faster in rematch
But I'm not confident in canelos team taking an immediate rematch (understand why)
And there will be a lot of backlash if this turns out to be the case.
