Canelo can't do 155 anymore. He is too big for 155. He will probably fight GGG again if the PPV numbers are high. If not then Canelo will fight someone like Khan, Chavez. Big payday, low risk.

I was impressed with all of those things, as well, from Canelo. I however wasn't impressed with his conditioning in later rounds. Especially against a guy you yourself say has been steadily declining and is 35. That's something they're going to need to "up". I don't think there's any argument that Canelo is the more skilled boxer. Golovkin was clearly just a frustrating opponent for him with the constant pressure. Paulie was talking about how GGG did the same thing Mayweather did with that circus act McGregor. Just kept walking him down, taking whatever he threw, and tiring him out mentally and physically with the pressure. Canelo obviously still very tough mentally and physically. ESPN may have polled 1% of fighters, but they were top fighters and legends. People that are a master of their craft and with good fight IQ. I will definitely agree with you on fighters sticking to fighting, and judges sticking to judging (although 1 of these particular judges may want to reconsider that); I'll further add fans should stick to fan'ing.

I was more impressed with Canelo's versatility, defense, and overall skills than I was with Golovkin's aggressiveness & determination. It says to me that Canelo is a better boxer. I have to base my opinion on what I saw, not what goes on 'in many minds'. I can't readjust my opinion based on peer pressure or ESPN polls. Furthermore, ESPN cannot possibly know what 90% of professional MMA and boxing athletes thought since they only polled 1% of professional MMA and boxing athletes. The fighters who DO believe Golovkin convincingly won the fight are entitled to their opinion, but they should probably just stick to fighting. Just like not every fighter is cut-out to be a coach, many are not fit to be a judge.

Fans SHOULD stick to fan'ing. You're probably right. But then we'd have nothing to talk about! I appreciate any fan expressing their opinion, as long as it's done in an intelligent manner. When we express our opinions we're fans, but when we start calling fighters by derogatory nicknames or posting photoshopped pictures we're just fanboys. I get the feeling that most of the people here are not just fan'ing Golovkin, they want to feed him g****s and worship him like a Roman Emperor. Some people go as far as to use a photo of Golovkin as their avatar, with hearts drawn around his face like the doodles on a tween girl's school binder. It's hard to take those type of people seriously, and it's even harder to imagine that their opinion could be unbiased.

The ones I just give an eye roll to and scroll on by are all of these troll accounts you see with 20 or 30 posts just trying to stir the pot. Today I saw some kid talking about "Horn destroyed Pacquiao easily, so he was right to duck the rematch." Those are the unintelligent ones to me. The ones that think they're clever knowing they'll get a reaction from some other mental midget. Being clever isn't being smart. I agree with you that there are so many people hard to take seriously on here. A step below evolution lol.
